Myagri Visit

Just a short recap on where I was last Wednesday.

Dr. Palsan arranged a trip for our class to visit Myagri, an agriculture-based biotechnology company. We were able to gain knowledge about the current trends of biotechnology in our country. The speakers also shared many of their experiences in the field, widening our views. Though there are many setbacks, we were encouraged to fight for opportunities. However, this made many of us, especially Rayyeow, to think that "兴趣不能当饭吃".

We were forced to leave early due to a broke down university bus. The bus we booked for the trip had to take over the broken down bus, scheduled to leave the university at aroudn 5.15pm. Some of us were not satisfied and left regrettably, blaming the management of the university.

Here are some photos taken during the visit. Too bad that we were unable to photograph many sections due to 'trade secrets'.

Royal Selangor Visit

Got a chance to visit Royal Selangor factory somewhere around Wangsa Maju during the Deepavali break. I was staying overnight in Skye's house the night before. Harvard also joined us in the visit that Sunday afternoon (he drove all the way from his house).

For those who do not know Royal Selangor, it is company that specializes in craft-making with pewter. It was originally a self-owned business, but it later grew into a globally renowned brand. We were greeted by the friendly staffs at the reception, and then went off to the main entrance via an elevator.

We were able to get through without a tour guide, because someone among us will be our guide for the whole visit! Mr. Skye, our tour guide and also a part-time staff in Royal Selangor, led us through the galleries, explaining while we were viewing their products. It was really an eye opener, knowing the pewter industry of our country. The only thing is, he did not tell us we were coming, so I did not bring my camera, and have to use my lousy phone camera to capture the following images:

Was saddened by the tragedy that happened in Putatan yesterday afternoon. I can't believe it when I saw someone posting the horrible photos on Facebook. I always thought that the scenario will only happen in the movies... Really hope that the railway safety will be heightened, and I pray for the missing ones. Sheryl is sad too. =[

Steamboat

Got bored of reading articles and journals. So I'll write something here again after a 2-month gap.

Since this is the final semester for us (my friends and I) in university, some of us decided to have a party before we go for our internship. After much consideration, majority of us voted to have steamboat on Tuesday (4th October). The planning was led by HY, KY and the other girls, and our venue on that day was at KY's rented unit in Desa Palma.

Tuesday was chosen as it was the common time slot for everyone of us, and everyone wanted to let it out after 3 tests, namely Environmental & Industrial Biotech, Food & Agro Biotech and Bioethics, though some of us still have Medical & Pharmaceutical Biotech test next Thursday.

Well of course, the girls were busy preparing even before the gathering. They were almost done when I reached KY's house. And what most of the boys did were only bringing their eating utensils, including me!! =D

一冊の本、ワンワールド

I was hoping to go the 6th BookFest organised by Popular for some time. At long last, I was able to set my foot at the KLCC this morning, together with my cousin. The theme for the book festival this year is One Book One World. As you expect, the halls were packed with all sorts of books, ranging from self disciplinary to comic books, somewhat like a huge library, or you can say a giant sardine can (yea, I can barely walk in there).

It is MYR2.50 per adult for a daily pass. With 5 halls and a hall for entertainment goods on the upper level, the book fes is really a worthy place to spend your public holiday with, scanning and choosing for good books. I was able to pick up some books that I really wanted to buy in a discounted price, especially The Five Greatest Warriors by Matthew Reilley ( a whopping 50 bucks discount!)

Why the face? Because I can't believe myself for buying so many books in one go. This was the first time I did this. And that all cost me more than 130 bucks, which is a lot to me.

Nevertheless, I felt the time and money spent wasn't worthless. I really hope that I can finish these books and not forget about them, if not it will really be a wastage.

New Semester

Howdy guys? It's been uum... more than 4 months!! I can't believe I have nothing to blog during the short semester. A whole semester without a new post, I blame Alice Madness Returns (which I finished with just a few days) and my packed-but-not-so-packed time table for the short semester.

Okay, enough with the blaming, coz they're not the reason; I'm just plain lazy, that's all. The new long semester started last week, and this will be my last semester in my degree life. Time sure flies without you realizing it! It's been almost 3 years now and after my placement/internship for 16 weeks after this semester, I will be graduating!! Uugh, I'm getting old...

I'm graduating in a few months' time!! Pinch me to see if I'm dreaming!!

That aside, I can't quite understand why the university started our class last week when they're giving us Raya Break for 1 full week the week after. I'm all alone in the hostel right now, with only few locals and some international students. At least Lyence is here until tomorrow. However, with most of the hostel-dwellers gone, I can have the internet all to myself!! Guess I'll start my download streak and also continue Dragon Nest-ing.

It's been so long since I got this kind of speed.

Too bad torrent was blocked half a year ago, so I can't get this speed anymore...

Fear is now building up within me, the fear of stepping out into the society, fear of my future. Decisions are to be made and I'm afraid of the path that I chose. I'm in a dilemma between choosing to work or continuing my studies. Even I chose to continue my studies, what should I do? Where should I go? I'm really reluctant to choose.

But, I still have to continue. This is a part of life, and it will be part of me. No matter what I choose, I pray that He guide me so that I can stay strong.

Broga Hill Trip

Organized by Lyence, LSC had another outing, and this time, it was a trip to Broga Hill!! The time for us to gather at the bus stop was 10.30am, but I was only there at around 10.40am, along with HSiang, Soong and Harvard, coz we went to have our breakfast at a nearby coffee shop. Had a cup of Nescafe, to prevent the sleep deprived me from falling asleep in this exciting event.

At last, the bus came at around 11.30am, and we reached our destination just in time for our lunch. Crap... Lyence made us came to the bus stop and sit there for an hour to wait for the bus...

Broga OUTBAC is quite a nice place. Except for the small pond, I think it was worth it to have a camp over there. Yeah, we're sleeping in a air-conditioned dorm, so it wasn't really considered as camping. But, look at the scenes around the camp:

It started raining again in the afternoon. However, it didn't stop us from having our fun. We did kayaking in the pond, made our own raft, overcame obstacles and flew like a fox. The participants were divided into 2 groups when we were supposed to build our raft, and what a surprise, out raft actually floated!! We were thinking that it would definitely sink when it hit the water. Rowed around the lake with the raft, and my butt hurt whole lots...

The obstacles were okay. It was all the same as what I did in NS, maybe that's the standard obstacles. Still got many bruises all around. Owh yeah, the best part was of course, flying fox!! It was higher than the one in Similajau NS camp, because the tower was on a lower ground (the one in Similajau was on a higher ground, so the tower was shorter). Sadly, the fun lasts only less than 1 minute.

After our dinner, we had games in the multi-purpose hall. The game masters did a great job in introducing us the games and demo-ing. It's free time after 10. Talked non-stop with great dudes, and shared many opinions. I myself was surprised that one cup of Nescafe had made me awake for so long as I thought I'm gonna tumble and fell asleep somewhere between.

Woke up at 5am today. Luckily it didn't rain, if not our purpose of coming here would need to be canceled. Hiking was not my thing, but luckily I was forced to climb Canada Hill since I was young, so this was not as bad as I thought, though it was a bit steeper at the hilltop. No wonder Kent said this will be an easy climb. And just to make it clear to someone, I'm not that pathetic, coz I've seen steeper and scarier ones. My pants without mud stains can be the proof that I don't need someone to hold my hands to get down the hill.
Still, it was really tiring after yesterday's activities as my stamina sucks.

1 Year Older

Adding 1 to 20 is really tough. Yeah, I'm a legal adult now and am required to vote whenever there is one. Many things had happened, accompanying me till today: happy ones, sad ones, exciting ones etc. Somehow, I missed home a lot today.

Was playing Digimon Rumble Arena and Naruto Accel 2 in Ray's room, together with Harvard and Ah Bian. We shouted and laughed so loud that the guard have to come and give us a warning LOL. It was intense, both the Digimon and Naruto games. Really need to have this once in a while, to relieve stress and have some fun.

Just a few hours ago, Lyence and Ryan had an idea. He said we are going to Starbucks in LCCT at around 11.30pm. And we did, on 2 separate cars. Thanks Lyence, Ryan, Ray, Harvard and Ah Bian for being with me at 12am in the morning at LCCT!!

We crapped whole lots in one corner. There were nothing that we did not crapped about. Even though we were tired, the caffeine still held us awake. We left at 2am.

Harvard wanted a baby chair but we can't find one. We used a trolley instead. =D

Till now, I'm still awake due to the iced cappuccino I had... Have to force myself to sleep now.

Putrajaya Botanical Park

Went to Putrajaya Botanical Park following a crowd of around 30 peeps. I was the OC, and this event was held under 15th INTIMA Life Science's Club. The aims of this trip were to promote the interaction between our club members and also bring each of us closer to nature. Through 2 weeks of preparation, at last the day drew near.

We left our hostel at 8.10am. Everyone were already hyper on the bus (I assume xD). Gave a short briefing to each members on the bus, then we reached our destination half an hour later. Had a group photo before everyone leave and follow each of their gang into the park. The admission is free, but you have to decide whether you want to rent a bike or not at the entrance. The price is 4 bucks for a person/hour.

Planned to rent a bicycle, but it seems like the park ran out of bicycles (they were all rented out). So we have no choice but to stroll around the park first. Went back to rent a bicycle an hour later and we got lucky. Breathing in fresh air within the park really does soothe your body and soul. Such tranquility helped to calm your mind, and I like it. Lil Pet Frenzy

Was a little bit down yesterday, when I just got my Microbiology test paper. I expected it to be bad, but not this bad. Stunned, I had no mood to have my lunch. Kenneth, on the other hand kept cheering me, thanks Kenneth. Really need to start something before it is too late...

Forget about that for a while, now we have adopted a new way of talking. Instead of giving expression or exclamation, we (me, Harvard, Raymond and Kenneth) will just use cyber language. For example, when a person just told you a joke, you reply with saying 'LOL' or '=.=' and etc.

Okay, I'll just stop talking about these boring stuff. Let's liven stuff a bit with some pictures I took last month and yesterday. The following pictures featured Lyence's new pet, Lil Lyence. Took the pictures 2 weeks ago in Lyence's room:

2 Hours of Sweat

It has been a long time since I actually sweated. Well I did 1 month ago, but that was just a short jog around the park, and I'm the first to pant like a errh.... never mind that.

I went straight to the MPH together with Jason at 8pm, just after German class. We met up with Siew and Quek over there. There were supposed to be 2 more person coming, but due to unforseen reasons, they're not coming. So 4 of us had a few matches of 2v2 badminton streak for 2 hours. KH joined later and we took turns to rest. And I'm totally exhausted now. Can't lift up my right hand properly as I used too much force just now (must be wrong smashing technique). But, that did made me refreshed, especially after Dr. Choong's test.

His test was not hard, but you can't say it was easy either. And I'm ashamed, that I actually stucked at the calculations questions, which I am not supposed to. Lack of maths practice for more than 2 years really deteriorated my maths skills, by a lot, and I meant, A LOT. Well, the test was over, have to focus on Immunology on Friday now.

Gonna get to my nest now. Too tired to type anymore.

I hope I don't wake up with muscle pains later or I'm gonna cry...

Busy?

I've been very busy lately. Or maybe I'm not actually busy, but just lazy to clear off the piled stuffs that I'm supposed to do...

Had Bioinstrumentation test on Monday and Microbiology test on Thursday. Will be having Principles of Biotechnology test on next Monday and Immunology test on Friday. Not to mention assignments and journals and reports. Crap, these 2 weeks are sure creating a havoc in my 'peaceful' routine. I thought I did badly in my Bioinstrumentation test, but it turned out to be better than expected when the lecturer returned my paper yesterday. Sadly, I was dumb enough to think that E. coli is an eukaryote, making me don't dare to think about my Microbiology test paper.

Had Microbiology lab on Tuesday, and it was the last lab that will be conducted by Mr. Lim. Lala will be taking over the course starting next week. Everyone was shocked when we heard of 'The Return of Lala'. Got a chance to take some photos the next day when we were viewing the results of the bacteria we cultured. Bacteria E. coli, E. aerogenes, S. aureus and S. faecalis were used.

Happy Chinese New Year and a Happy Rabbit Year!! Yes, according to the Chinese zodiac, year 2011 is the Year of Rabbit. I know today is the 5th day of the Chinese New Year according to the lunar calendar, but since I wasn't around on the 1st day, so I figured to wish everyone now. Too bad that my class starts yesterday. It feels like I had the shortest CNY break this year, though I had great fun.

Anyway, wish you a prosperous CNY and Gong Xi Fa Cai!!

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year folks!! This will be my first post in the year!!

Sadly, the not-so-long sem break was over, and I have to catch a flight to another jungle tomorrow morning. As I bid my farewell to 2010, I'm now entering the last semester of my second year. Look how time passes, especially between 11.59pm of 2010 and 12.01am of 2011. Just in a blink of your eye, the magic that keeps you young deteriorates little by little.

Went out with great guys this morning. We had our chats in Starbucks, then continued our arguments/complaints/comments in Pizza Hut, later went walking around the mall, and lastly sat down and watched Guilliver's Travels in the cinema. Well, basically I had a nice little reunion with my friends before resuming my studies this semester. Guilliver's was hilarious and stupid, but there was a line that was very very meaningful.

Saw 2 red lights flying across the night sky around 8.50pm just now. I was dumping the garbage outside my house when I saw them. Thought they were 孔明灯, so I shrugged it off my mind. Flashing back now, they maybe 2 UFOs LOL.

How often can you see this time?

Well then, I'm off now. Wish everyone can achieve their New Year's resolution in no time, and once again, Happy New Year!!

Brunei, again!!

Went to Brunei again yesterday with my whole family, and this time, there was a tour guide guiding us around. He was some far far away relative that I didn't even know of, living in Brunei, so sorry folks who went Brunei with me the other day.

Since we depart at around 4pm, it was already night time when we reach Bandar. Had our dinner at uncle's house, and then we went touring around Bandar and Jerudong.

One of the most popular mosque in Brunei, the ASR Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque was built in commemoration of the 25th accession of the Brunei Sultan, and I heard that the royals also prayed there.

Driving around Jerudong, the old ones were especially disappointed because of the darkness surrounding Jerudong Park. It was once the most beautiful theme park in Borneo, and was said to beat even Disney Land, and now it is deserted. My parents said our family went there when I was small, but I had only a vague memory of it. All I know is that the entrance was free, and there were lots of people from our country and others alike.

We head back to Gadong, and stayed a short while in front of Lexus (Brunei) showroom. The Christmas decoration was really stunning, so we took some photos of it. Even a lot of the locals went there for photographs.

Before going back this morning, we dropped by the royal istana, Istana Nurul Iman, where the Sultan currently stays. Construction of new buildings were going on, as the guard said there are not enough space for the royals.

Of course, we did not miss to have Excapade Sushi before balik kampung.

Discovering Niah

Today is Dong Zhi, or so called Winter Solstice Festival. Of course my family were celebrating. Had a great feast at my uncle's house just now, where Tangyuan became the "Star of the Day".

Continuing the trip of Lim and gang here, I will post some pictures about where we were 2 days ago, after the Brunei trip (they rested for a day in my house). After our light breakfast on Monday morning, we were on our way to visit Niah Caves. We reached Niah National Park an hour later.
Bought our tickets for 10 bucks per head, then we head towards the jetty, where a boat will send us to the other side of the river.

Trader's Cave was the first cave we encounter. As the name says, the cave was used for trading, especially barter trades with the nearby villages ages ago. Going further down will be the West Mouth, the main entrance of Niah Caves, also the cave where we always see on the photographs and books. We were lucky enough to watch the 'live show' of local villagers collecting bird nests.

Unfortunately, my camera's battery went flat after this point, so the next pictures posted are of HSiang's courtesy. I did another stupid mistake of mine, I forgot to inform everyone to bring a torchlight. Out of choices, we used our cellphones as torch lights, and mine ran out of battery too...

We were walking towards Painted Cave through West Mouth, and it was very very dark. We can't even see ourselves, not to mention Harvard. Our only hope was the light emitted by Lim's cellphone.

Sadly, we were not allowed to continue our journey to Painted Cave B as the path was blocked. So we have to trace back our path and walk all the way back to the entrance of the national park.

Exiting Niah Caves, we went to have our late lunch in Batu Niah at 3pm. Our stomachs were growling madly for food after 5 hours of extreme walking and climbing. Left Niah and got back at about 5.30pm, so we went straight to Marina Bay for sunset viewing.

Brunei Trip

Just heard the aeroplane carrying my friends flew past this area. Yea, they're flying back to their homes on board the second last flight today. Sent them to the airport 2 hours ago and we spent some time together until they got into the departure hall. Will see them 3 weeks later anyway...

So, here's the account of our Brunei Trip 3 days ago... After our breakfast in Sun City, we went to Bintang Plaza for the Bureau de Change. We got some Brunei dollars and started off our one-day journey through and fro Brunei. This was what we saw at the Sungai Tujuh (border line of the 2 countries) immigration checkpoint:

We have already experienced the above mentioned potholes before reaching the checkpoint.

Passing through the checkpoint, we reached Brunei territory almost immediately. We observed that our country's immigration officers were at least more careful when stamping the passports. There was something interesting when we reach Kuala Belait (part of Brunei) toll station, which is very embarrassing (not us) and unheard of in our country.

We reached Bandar 2++ hours later. We quickly got to a petrol station. 19 B$ got us 35 litres of oil (0.53B$/litre)!! After our calculations, it was proved that drinking a bottle of water in Brunei is more expensive than drinking a bottle of RON 85 petrol.

Next, we went to the pasar across a river. There were speedboats at the river, offering B$30 bucks for a ride, which we refused.

Just opposite the river, sat the Guang Zhe Zhun Wang temple. We went into the aged but properly managed temple for a look-see. Lim and HSiang offered some offerings and prayed here for a little while.
We later went to Yayasan Shopping Mall by foot from the temple. We strolled around the mall, at had our late lunch at 4pm at KFC (all the way to Bandar, and we had KFC lol). The best part was that, no freaking tax was imposed!! Citizens here don't have to bother to pay 15% government and service tax like we do, meaning, the price shown on the price list will be the amount you have to pay, how convenient it is!! And yet, government here still have to rise the tax starting next year. Well, that's one of the difference between the 2 oil exporting countries.

It was 8pm++ when we reached home. Had Japanese curry my mom cooked until we're stuffed. I was complained by Lim as I did not fulfill my role as a tour guide. I sincerely apologise because I did not do my homework before going and caused all of you guys trouble.

KK Trip

Came back from KK 2 days ago and it was fun!! Unfortunately, we got no chance to climb Mount Kinabalu. Quite free right now because the others are watching DVD in the living room, so I thought of posting something over here. This maybe the first time I posted so many pictures one go.

Day 1
I reached KKIA Terminal 2 at about 11am+. After the reschedule, Lim and gang's flight was changed to 7am+ in the morning, so they waited for me in the airport for almost 4 hours!! Lucky the one waiting was not me. Got onto an Innova taxi and went to Promenade Hotel, and the gang was all tired from waiting. Sadly, we had to wait for another extra hour as the hotel is still clearing the room. We strolled around, and sat next to the swimming pool, planning for the rest of the day, and of course, the next day.

** Saw Bing and 'someone' in the airport departure lounge!! Such a coincidental event. Both of them were boarding a flight to KL.**

Went out to had our lunch in Centre Point, leaving Ah Lim alone in the room. Walked around the complex until night time, and we didn't expect ourselves to window shop for that long. We later walked out of the hotel hunting for dinner. There was a Bazaar down the street, so we thought of having our dinner over there. Someone in the group ate something I never imagined, something squishy with lime squeezed on it. Uugh, flashing back still gave me goosebumps.

Day 2

We decided to go rafting the next day. The excitement and fun cannot be described, though the train we traveled on was a big let down. Should have got a shot of the train, but none of us brought our phone or cameras to prevent theft or water. But I assure you, the train is waaay better than KTM as it gives you a REAL experience in traveling on a train.

We were so exhausted when we reached the hotel that 8.30pm. But due to hunger, we have to venture out of the hotel to look for food. Saw the KK version of Wong Kok when we were hunting down our dinner.
At last we reached our destination, and had a feast there.

Day 3
Ah Lim said he was darn tired, so he stayed in the hotel. The 3 young ones, including me of course, took a cab and went down to Jesselton Port. We were lucky that someone tipped us off so we don't have to pay for 160 bucks per person to 2 islands for a day. The trip to 2 islands only took 50 bucks out of each of our pockets, including terminal fee.

The islands we were supposed to visit were Sapi Island and Manukan Island. Both were breathtaking and beautiful. I was fascinated by the tranquility of the islands, especially Sapi Island. The snorkeling experience around the island was nice. HSiang nearly got bitten by a swarm of fish surrounding him. It was a bit disappointing when we snorkel around Manukan Island though, as the corals around the shallow waters of the island are on the verge of death. Human activity and destroying natural habitats was really scary and devastating. If you gave me a choice of Ketam or either of the islands in Tunku Abdul Rahman Park (including Sapi, Manutik, Manukan and Gaya), I will definitely choose the second. Oh, and someone forgot his slippers and realized it only after we reached the Manukan Island (We went to Sapi first).

My results was released last Tuesday, and thanks to brother Kenneth who informed me, I checked mine online with irregular heartbeats. It was really a very very very scary moment, considering that I did not do well in my Biochemistry 2 this semester (or shall I say, last sem?). Clicking "Next" on the page was kinda hard, and I closed my eyes for a moment as the page loads. Twenty... Fifty... Eighty... Poof!! The page loads, and when I opened my eyes, I was relieved. Not good, but at the very least, I freaking passed my Biochem!! Was sooo scared that I may have to repeat another sem, and I'm glad that my prayers were heard. I do know in order for the Almighty to help, I've had to help myself too, and I did my best (I think, I don't know how the others think), and I believe Palsan helped me too. Well, my Genetics 2 was OK, still can be improved, though I won't be taking Genetics anymore.

Going to KK tomorrow in the morning, so I'm not gonna go online for a few days. I will be meeting my friends over there and spend a few days touring around the second largest state. A bit nervous somehow, though it's not the first time I went traveling without my family. I'll have to wait for them in the airport for an hour or so as they're flying from the City of Cat, and me from the Land of First Old Lady. After the trip, they will come and stay at my place before going back to their respective hometowns. Hm... anticipating the trip.

Bing and Oli ah, when are we gonna go badminton-ing? I know you're sick of having boredom in company, I am too. Man, how about the other guys from the BHood? When can we have a reunion? Please do tell when you all are free, and I'm sure you all are.

Pulau Ketam Trip

Suddenly got a surge to write something here, so I typed this address in my Firefox's address bar. Looking at the recent post, woot, 2 months old; turning to the left and looked at the chatbox, 2 month old too! Hah, I'm so lazy. I'm just too lazy to watermark my pictures, so no blogging for a whole 2 month of short semester.

Came back to my hometown for a week now, and I still love everything here. Love my home, my lil cozy bed, and of course, Kolok Mee!! Nothing changed much, except for the opening of Merdeka Mall, the new McD drive-thru and the construction of overhead bridge near Merdeka Mall and Boulevard.

Before coming back home, I went on a one-day trip to Pulau Ketam with my friends. We left the uni just half an hour after our last finals on Tuesday. 9 of us and a total of 2 cars, we reached Port Klang and got on an express boat leaving for Crab Island at 11.45am. Speaking of Pulau Ketam, of course there were a lot of ketams.

It was really a nice and quite island, where you can relax, and let out the built up stress when preparing for the final exam. We had a chance to get on a speed boat and went touring around the nearby seas and also a fish-rearing farm. Here are some shots I captured on the boat:

Touring around the island also opened my eyes. This was the first time I'm in a place with no cars or other transports, except for motorcycles and bicycles. Cycling around with a rented bicycle was a nice experience. The slow-paced life and the serenity around the island really calms you down. We had a feast that night in a restaurant, though some dishes were not of my taste.

Oh, and I forgot we celebrated someone's early birthday with a pau!! Yes, a pau, with candles on it. Dude, don't deny any more, you're old!! XD And the dude actually forgot his wallet in the clinic the next morning when we're leaving to the mainland. He only remembered when he got onto the express boat, and certain someone have to stay back to accompany him. Had bakkuteh in Klang and went to OneU for HP7 Part 1. Our last stop before going back to our dorms (the other half went back to their respective homes) was I-City, colourful place with many different light colours.

That should fill the gap between the past 2 months. Gonna lie on my cozy bed and meet Zhou Gong. Nitez~~

Sorry about the 3 months idle. Yeah, a lot had happened within these 90+ days, some that saddened me and some that made me happy. Now, it's the time for the semester to end, and finals are coming again. My first subject will be MGT, on next Tuesday, and as I said, MGT will haunt you to the depths of hell.

Anyway, stop talking about that. I'm just here to fill in the 3 months gap by posting something random. Since the last sudden blackout last Saturday, which the management claimed to be a maintenance (with no fore-warning), Soong was unable to get online in his block for 2 days. So I accompanied him on Sunday, bringing my lappy out somewhere in our hostel compound to use the Wi-Fi.

This is what shocked me as I've never seen this download speed anywhere in here, even when I use Stream-my-ass at home.

Ok, that filled the gap. Time to take a bath and do some reading. Adios~

Was so scared to log on to Eramis this morning. I'm so afraid that I might fail a subject, especially UCC General Psychology, which I have no confidence in. I braced myself and typed in my student ID and password, and my, I was shocked!

Even thought my results are only average and not as good as some other else(someone got 3 A+s and 2 A-s, another got 4 As and an A-, and another get 3 A-s and 2 B+s), but I'm still quite happy. I'm happy that the goal I set for myself is reached, for all the 3 subjects!! Though I should get better in my MAT, but I did too much mistakes in the finals, so I lowered my target. Never thought Rayyeow would surpass me in MAT, what a surprise! My CHM is bad to begin with, so getting the grade was good enough for.

The overall of my results are satisfactory. I was so happy that I hurt my leg when I rushed upstairs to get my phone, and now it is bruised and still painful :( . I thanked God for my results, for giving me chance to get A-s. I also thank various lecturers who taught me in various ways. Of course, I thank my friends in teaching and helping me, and also having group discussions with me. Thank you Lyence, HSiang, Nicole, Ryan, Rayyeow, Yang², Kenneth and the others, may God continue to bless you all :) .

Anyway, here is a snapshot I took from Angel Beats episode 3. This is the best parody of Windows XP I've ever seen, and I liked it very much. I laughed until I nearly fell of my chair when I saw this. Wanted to sleep maybe an hour later, so adios~

Our country's currency is denoted in 10, 20, 50 and 100, with 20 being the rarest among them all. 20 bucks is brown in colour, and I never thought I will see it again since the last time, when I was in primary 5, if I'm not mistaken.

Saw this brown note few days back on one of the tables in my house. Wow, this sure bring you back to the olden days (though I'm not suitable to say that xD).

Fix Prompt when Clicking on Partition

Dad told me that there's a problem in my desktop, so finally, I got to switch on that desktop and tried to fix it. Dang, when I double-clicked on a partition, a prompt window appeared, asking me to choose from a list of programme to open from. This thing is damn annoying. Normally, people will just treat it as a virus/trojan case, and Right Click > Explore to get into the partition, until the PC is reformatted. But, this thing can be fixed!

Did some research, and found a few ways. The easiest way is as follows:

Metohd 1

1. Go to Start > Run.

2. Type regedit to go into the registry and edit them.

3. The Registry Editor window will appear. Press Ctrl+F to bring out the search box.

4. In the search box, type mountpoints2. We are looking for MountPoints2 folder in the registry.

5. Delete the folder when you found it. Search through the whole registry and double-search. Restart you PC afterwards.

6. This will do for some cases. If the problem still persists, try the next method.

Method 2

1. Click Start > Run.
2. In the box, type cmd to get into command prompt.

3. In the command prompt, the path is set to Documents and Settings\Admin. Type cd\ to go to the partition your windows is installed in, in my case C drive.

4. Then type attribute -r -h -s autorun.inf. This is to search for autorun.inf that the virus/trojan had concealed even if you had 'Show hidden files' option checked in the 'Folder and search options'.

5. Next, type del autorun.inf to delete autorun.inf.

6. If you have more than one partition, change to that partition by typing the alphabet of that drive, in my case e:. Repeat steps 4. and 5., then restart your PC.

Little Windows Prank

I'm back, from a long semester!! Was sooo excited when I got back that I asked my mom to bring me and have kolok mee stragiht after I enter the car. Boy, how satisfying it was, but too bad I forgot to take picture, if not I can show them to a bunch of people (if I name them, they will kill me, definitely).

The finals this semester was quite okay, but I'm afraid I can't score in Chemistry 2 and General Psychology, especially GP, where my coursework is so damn low that I wanna cry. I just hope I can pass them both, and get at least B+ for the other 3 subjects.

Accidentally came across a nice prank when I'm fixing my desktop few hours ago. This prank is simple, and all you need is just a few simple steps (applicable only to Windows Vista and Windows 7):

1. First, just look for PrintScreen key on your keyboard and press it.

2. Paste the captured picture in any programme you want. For me, I use Paint. Photoshop is just too much for this simple task. Save it in any format you want, but not Photoshop image.

3. Right click on your desktop. Then go to View > Show desktop icons. Uncheck the Show desktop icons.

4. Your desktop should look empty like this (depending on your wallpaper, of course!):

5. Open your folder, where the captured picture was saved just now. Right click on the picture, then choose Set as desktop background.

6. You're done! You can now scare your friends off! The first thing that crosses their mind will most probably be: OMG! Virus!

You can still do this prank for Windows XP (lazy to get printscreens from my desktop, so use your imagination):
1. First, like the one above, press PrintScreen on your keyboard.
2. Save the captured picture in Paint.
3. Create a backup folder in My Documents, or anywhere that you know that can't be found easily (don't be that stupid and put it on the Desktop).
4. Drag all the icons on the Desktop and drop them in the folder you just made.
5. Delete all icons on the desktop.
6. Look for your captured image, then make it as the desktop background.
7. Voila!! You're done!!

P/s: For Windows Vista and Windows 7, please uncheck the Show desktop gadgets. For Windows XP, place your Recycle Bin at the same position as the printscreened image (too bad Recycle Bin is accessible).

Went to Charity Night organized by 14th INTIMA'S Leo Club a few hours ago. Actually, I don't feel like going although I bought a VIP ticket which costs me 7 bucks a week ago. Harvard asked me to go as he bought a ticket and even came to my room to wait for me, so I got no choice but to go. HSiang told me Cass gave him her 2 tickets, so he will be going too, together with Lyence.

And so, we went into MPH at 6.30pm and found out that the show ends at 11pm and we haven't had dinner yet! Later HSiang and Harvard went out to have dinner, bringing some bread into MPH for Lyence and I. 12 groups competing for 终极天团 of 8TV was there to perform too!! But, boy, Shawn Lee was the best! His beatboxing was superb!! You who have not listened to his beatboxing should have been there!

The charity night is held to raise funds for 5 homes for orphans, thus there were performance by the people from the orphanages. They say 100% of the profit is divided into 5 and given to the the orphanages, RM1,700 each. Bobby Gaga who sang the CNY song using melody of 'Poker Face' was also singing too, not the CNY song though. But his voice was quite OK. Learned something from 相声, 'know know is know know, no know is no know' LOL! What is that? A direct translation from '知之为知之，不知为不知'!! The last performance was done by 马嘉轩, a Malaysian 超级星光大道 participant.

Got a CD titled SMS Love Songs sponsored by Sony. Am I lucky or what? I think if I'm sitting in the VIP seat, I won't get the CD. It was taped under my seat and I only realised it when the emcee told us about the surprise present.

As usual, Thursday morning starts off with Chemistry class. I was surprised that our lecturer knew about history of Mynmar and Thailand that none of us in the class know of(of course excluding the 2 international ones). When none of us laughed at his somehow non-understandable jokes, he told us: You people need hardcore jokes, you can't take 'softcore' jokes. You all need Malaysianised jokes.
Luckily, he cancelled the extra class at 6pm to 8pm today.

It's MCB lab and we viewed some slides after we finish up our observation for last week's gel electropherosis. We are supposed to look at slides of animal development. Here are some slides that we viewed under the microscope:

Sitting here in McD now. Was drooping all the way in the taxi till here. Slept for only 3 hours++. Damn, I envy my brother who slept from 12AM. I'm afraid that my brother will be sooooo hungry that I woke up at 4.45AM just to walk out of the dorm compound and buy some bread for breakfast as I finished my stockpiled food yesterday morning. I'm at my limit now... Hope I can had some little nap in the middle of the flight.

Got back my MCB test paper yesterday(the test was held on Tuesday) and was not satisfied :( I did so many damn careless mistakes!! Stupid Punett square, made my eyes blur and miscalculated the genotype ratio. Definition!! Of course there are other mistakes, but I don't wanna mention it here, it'll take ages. Fukuyama beat me by 0.5 marks and he promised Ray, TP and I to treat us after CNY. Don't feel like it's gonna be a good CNY because there will be tests for BTE, CHM and MAT just a week after CNY break!

Forget about tests, my lil brother came to my uni yesterday so that we can make it to the airport together. After having dinner with Lyence, HSiang, Siew, Soong, Harvard and Mr. Lim and his friends, my bro and I went to Ray's room, and it's time for Accel 2 again! We(TP, Fukuyama, Ray's neighbour, my bro and I) were screaming and yelling and shouting and, and, and... in short, we had lots of fun playing. Too bad we were chased away by Ray later at 11PM.

Will be meeting my dad in the airport later when we arrive. Mom is coming to pick us up~ No photo for this morning's post. So I will just post a wallpaper of 1366 x 768 I simply photoshopped a week ago. Ciao~~

It's Friday!!

Really hoped that Mr. Nathan is on MC when I woke up yesterday morning. But no, I don't wanna be as slow as DSCAU, so I still walked to class. Luckily he was here, or I will really lodge a complain to FAS. Chemistry lab was early today. We used only 45 minutes to finish what we're supposed to do. Found out that I forgot to bring my wallet, again, so I went back my room to pick up my wallet.

Had my lunch in McD together with HSiang, Lyence, Soong, Harvard, Siew, Kenneth and Mr. Lim. I don't know what happened to me, and I mistook their conversation twice in just a few minutes. Felt so dumb that time. I went back with Mr. Lim, together with HSiang, Kenneth and Soong, while Lyence, Siew and Harvard went to Giant. Siew lost his 3-month old 999 bucks handphone there and was pissed. Aww, I pity him...

What a hot afternoon it was. I kept sweating when I'm taking a nap. Fortunately, rain started falling and it was more comfortable. HSiang called and suggested to go pasar malam to have our dinner. HSiang followed Mr. Lim's car while Soong, Siew and I followed Lyence's car. Thought we forgot about Harvard, but suddenly remembered he went back home in the afternoon LOL.

We bought lots and lots of food, and met WX and Komala there, with 2 other Korean. Komala asked Lyence to send them back to hostel first, so the remaining 4 of us have to squeeze into Mr. Lim's Vios. Had our dinner in dinning hall, and phew, that was satisfying. I ate until I can't stuff anything into my stomach anymore... There was still some murtabak left which I can't finish and was thinking to have it as supper.

Later, Ray invited me to his room. I brought the murtabak there, and Fukuyama took it whole. Played both PS2 and PSP, and found out that Ray's Naruto Shippuuden Ultimate Accel 2 is unusable!! We also experience lag with the 3 PSPs there. Our hypothesis is that unstable magnetic field in Ray's room interferes with the WiFi of the PSPs, causing lagness in WiFi LAN game of the PSPs.

Woot, look at the time now! Have to get up early tomorrow to fulfill my promise with Fukuyama. I definitely will castrate him if he 'aeroplane' me.

Disabling UAC

Feeling frustrated when you are using your Windows, especially Windows Vista? Just copying your stuff from a pendrive to your hard disk, you'll have click 'continue' every time when the message jumps out. But hey! Do you know that you can switch off that notice, and then that prompt will be gone forever? I sometimes pity those who doesn't know this and have to give in and click are few more times, getting frustrated and irritated.

There are few ways to siwtch this off. For example editing your Regedit but let's not go that way as your PC will be GG-ed if you accidentally deleted something else. The easiest way is to go to your Control Panel. In the search box situated at the top right corner of your window, type UAC, as indicated by the red square in the picture below. Unfortunately, it will be a bit different for Vista users, so I will include it later.

Next, click on Change User Account Control settings(underlined in red colour in the picture above). A window will pop out. Depending on your personal liking, you can toggle the bar up or down. In this case, you want to switch off the prompt message, so drop the bar to the last or second last level, and you're done!

There is a little difference between Windows Vista and Windows 7. Vista users have to click on User Accounts and Family Safety(indicated in red circle in the picture below) before typing UAC in the search box.

Click on it, then uncheck Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer. Restart your computer when you are prompted to do so, then you are done! But there will be a small warning message popping out every time. You can just ignore it by changing your setting in your control panel.

Later in MAT lab, it seems that everyone we're really bored and tired. Some of us feel really sleepy, and some slept already[Shhh... I won't tell, no worries :)]. The guy sitting beside Ray had a good fish in the class too!! After finishing lab assignment 6, I gave up on assignment 7. Lyence and I started doing stupid stuff again(started by Ray)...

I overheard someone talking about me, and I was grateful that I heard it. I've always known that I had the tendency to do that, as it easily slips and everything can't be undone. I'm happy that he voiced, and I'm trying hard to change myself, to reduce the chance of people to think bad about me, though some are still unavoidable. I don't blame him and I forgave him, as part of it is my fault too. I never knew he can't bear with it, so I'm sorry.

Windows 7

Windows 7 has been launched here for a few months now, since October 2009. The launching of Windows 7 ends the regime of Windows Vista, which lasted only 3 years, way shorter than Windows XP which served for 8 years. Some doubted the quality and performance of Windows 7 as they fear it will just be the repitition of Windows Vista.

Luckily, Windows 7 turned out to be better than Windows Vista. There are few versions of Windows 7 released, Starter, Home Basic(not released within this region), Home Premium, Professional(business Windows) and Ultimate. You can say that Windows 7 is the 'Vista version' of Windows XP, as it is simpler and more user friendly compared to Windows Vista, thus Your PC, simplified. It uses less in RAM, normally 40% when you have 6 windows open. The processor normally remains less than 5% if you are just idling and doesn't fly to more than 60% when you switch on a programme like Photoshop.

Windows 7 removed some features in Windows Vista and added some features not found in Windows Vista. You can have a look over here and here! A mascot for Windows 7, Nanami Madobe, is created prior to the launching of Windows 7 in Japan, voiced by 水樹奈々! Why 水樹奈々? Simply because 奈々 sounds like 7(七) in Japanese. Why 'Madobe' then? In Japanese, windows is translated into 'mado'. Thus, Nanami Madobe literally means Windows 7, with the additional 'mi' to sound girly and 'be' to sound like a first name.

Here are some features of Windows 7:
Point your mouse cursor at the small rectangular box at the end of the taskbar, you will get to the desktop. Windows key + D does the same.

If you don't want to go to click on desktop but you wanted to look at what is on your desktop, just hold Windows key and spacebar.

Hold ALT + TAB key will allow you to switch between windows. With AeroPeek, a nicer windows switching can be done with Windows key + TAB(also in Windows Vista). And of course, you will need to enable AeroPeek in order to do this.

Some other combinations also can be done(some are included in Windows Vista) -
Windows key + U brings out Ease of Centre.

Windows key + P brings out external display options.

Windows key + F turns on Search window.

Windows key + X brings out Windows Mobility Centre(may differ between units).
Windows key + R turns on Run window.

Windows key + G selects gadgets on your desktop.

Windows key + L logs off user.

Windows key + E brings out Computer.

Winodws key + + zooms in where your courser is while Whidows key + - zooms out.

Windows key + upward arrow maximizes a window while Windows key + downward arrow minimises a window.

Windows key + left arrow snaps the window to the left while Windows key + right snaps the window to the right.

AeroPeek is automatically enabled when you have a GPU. Aeropeek is normally disabled if you are having an onboard graphic VGA(lower Intel Graphic Accelerator XXX)[red rectangular box]. Some may find the grouping in in the taskbar annoying. Changes can be made by selecting the option where the red circle indicates.

Well, I'll say Windows 7 FTW!! If you want to use Windows in a 64-bit platform, be sure that your processor can support 64-bit operations. 64-bit can fully utilize your RAM of more than 4GB, not like 32-bit platform, which can only supports up to 4GB of RAM, but only 3GB usable. Wanted to change to Windows 7? No problem, if and only if you bought your lappy or desktops in the period of July till December with Windows Vista preinstalled, write to your manufacturer and they will issue a copy of Windows 7 to you(Home Premium and above only). Be sure to do a clean install if you are upgrading from Windows XP or lower. You can just upgrade directly if you are using Windows Vista. Get more info in Microsoft's official page.

Early in the morning, and yet I'm still wide awake. Just came back from 'Malas-la' and sitting here to fix some stuff here and there.

At last, I got back my beloved lappy 2 days ago, on Friday!! I've waited for this for, let's see, 4 weeks? I remembered sending it in on the 1st of January this year. But, I'm not happy, NOT HAPPY!!! Mine was Ultimate version 64-bit when I sent it in, and it came back as Home Premium 32-bit UNACTIVATED VERSION!! I still have 27 days left when I switched on it. They told me it wasn't a hardware problem, but the 'entanglement' of audio codecs that causes the abnormality of the speakers. So they offered to reformat my C Drive and backup my data in the other partition, so I thought 'Why not?', but I never thought it would end up to be like this!!

I still have to thank Harvard as he purposely accompany me all the way down to KL just to get my lappy back. Of course I have to thank Lyence for sending us to and fro the station. Harvard and I talked alot in the commuter train before reaching Central an hour later. I helped Fukuyama to buy a 4GB pendrive too (That guy, asked him to follow me but he don't want to, darn!). The plan of going to Greenbox was cancelled when it was raining heavily outside when we left Lowyat. Having no choice, we walked around Time's Square and went back.

Missed 2 trains in Central as it was too packed. Everyone is in TGIF mood afterall, plus Thaipussam the next day, we were pushed out 2 times from the train. Luckily the train we got on board was quite empty, which arrived 4 minutes later than the previous one (back-to-back service as it is in peak hours). I don't know we were counted lucky or not, but we were forced to leave the train at Bangi, and we were supposed to arrive at our destination just after one more station. What to do? The 'Ma's are so efficient!

Barely reached hostel at 6.30pm and rushed to MPH at 7pm. Thanks to Larry, I was able to sweat for 1 hour and 40 minutes non-stop, playing badminton!! I was surprised with my own stamina, and I got muscle pains all around my body now... Had my dinner with Fukuyama and gang, which was supposed to be their supper. I thanked Fukuyama properly for loaning his other lappy to me for almost a week, so that I can finish my lab reports.

I spent the whole night till yesterday morning reformatting and reinstalling this lappy. Of course I slept, or else I'm gonna die of sleep deprivation. Continued the installation at 6.40am yesterday morning after I did my laundry. I found out later that my driver CD is not working!! For Pete's sake, why does it have to be corrupted??!! Had no choice but to download drivers from ASUS offical web, which I is yet to be done till now.

Installed Photoshop CS3 this afternoon for Ray's Site-Exchange Programme, which you can read it in more detailed from Ray's or Fukuyama's page. Wanted to install CS4 actually, but was lazy to walk to Ray's room and get the setup file from him, so I installed CS3 which I already got instead. Spent my afternoon just to create that little 170 × 50 thumbnail, and I did it!! It was my first time using Photoshop LOL!!

Next, I spent my night doing bits and bits of changes here, including this blog's template. Ray came to my room and helped me somehow, Fukuyama did too, but later. Taught Ray some maths, though I'm also not quite good at it. Liverpool won 2-0 as we were having roti canai in Al-salam just now.

I never thought this will happen. I know Japan is being hit hard by the recent recession, but one of the largest carrier in Asia filing for bankruptcy protection was really shocking. People expect new resolution from a new year, but this doesn't seem to be a good resolution.

As reported on 19 January, Japan Airlines, or JAL in short, announced that they are bankrupt. Even their board members have decided resigning, causing roughly 15,600 to loose their jobs. As of 19 January, the shares of JAL is only 10% of the previous week, and now the whole value of the company is only $150m, barely enough for a jumbo jet.

Japanese government announced that flights will still continue as they are restructuring the company. Plans of replacing older aircrafts and flying routes are being made (about 12 international destinations).

I heard from my brother that their service were damn good, and wanted to try it someday... But anyway, Delta Airlines has issued a statement to help JAL out, with the condition that they have to join SkyTeam and leave OneWorld.

"We have a good network indeed. Although Kent's country is damn rich because he has a lot of oil, he still need my country. My country has only water, so we need your (referring to me) country. Your country have technology to process crude oil while Fukuyama's country is an entrepot, dealing with packaging and exporting."

Duck Rice, anyone?

Had a bad start this morning. I can't sleep and I don't know why, so I switched on the laptop I loaned from Fukuyama. Ray bugged me when I signed in MSN. So I told him I wanted to go and buy coffee and newspaper. At last he agreed to take a stroll as he can't sleep too. I saw someone outside the block, and greeted LOL. The weather was cold with cool breeze blowing. Ah, I like the feeling of cool breeze blewing. Slept at 3am++ and woke up at 7am.

I had MCB 2 quiz 1 at 10am just now, after Dr. Ooi's class. The quiz was a bit different from what I did till now. Mr Lim let us watch a short clip and asked us to answer the questions given. Luckily the questions are not that hard, but the second part of the quiz was confusing. Stupid MCQ, I was not confident in my answers for the last few questions. Mr Lim said that we all seemed very tired, so he let us go at 11.10am and we were happy and shocked.

There was a second hand book sale around MPH and we went to have a look. I took a while over there and bought James Rollin's Deep Fathom. His book is interesting, so I bought it without second thought. Later, Lyence, Keiro, HSiang and I followed Mr Lim, Kenneth and GY to Nilai Square and had duck rice. The duck rice was somehow different from what I've had before, especially the steamed rice, which makes it special. The chili sauce was nice too!! However, the shop is confined that you won't notice there was a coffee shop there.

Mr Lim named this shop 'Hak Dim' because it is always dark inside and the shop is unnoticable.

Everyone except me. I'm the photographer LOL. Can't see GY...

23 days since the new year has arrived, at last I decided to type a few words over here. Just to tell everyone that, I'm still alive and kicking!

Look, he's half dead. But I'm still alive!!! (Sorry Lyence xD)

The second semester started 3 weeks ago, and I had my first quiz (BTE quiz) on Thursday. The next quiz will be MCB2 scheduled on Tuesday. But the unfortunate part is that I was unable to get my precious lappy back for 3 weeks!! I sent my lappy for a warranty replacement for the speakers which bursts after volume 46... and I've been calling them and asking when it will be done. Those stupid buggers keep telling me that they have to follow protocol and I have to wait for it to be done. WTH!! 3 straight weeks and you tell me it is not done yet? You all might as well just jump off a cliff! The suggested me to get it back without replacing the speakers as I was telling them I need it urgently. If I really want it back, of course I wanted the speaker to be replaced before getting it back! What's the point of leaving it for 3 weeks and getting it back when nothing is done? I really hate those buggers...

Anyway, as my friends and I came out of the chemistry lab yesterday morning, we saw something nice just outside the block.

Aloha my friends!! A good morning to ya all!! Yea, I'm so happy right now as I'm sitting in McD of the airport, waiting for my flight minutes later!! Wooohoooo, my sweet home, here I come~~~

Ok ok, that's it, I'm too happy right now that I want to make someone who is not able to go back his/her hometown envious. Lucky that this was a short sem, so I got to have a 2 months holiday at my hometown, though I doubt I will be bored to death xD.

Finally, winter is here! Although there is now snow falling over here, and you are impossible to see a White Christmas over here, it still rains, and there've been a lot of downpour since erm... last week?? I think. And the downpour spoiled me and my friends' plans of going to the lagoon and having some fun. Darn. The news of 3 UTAR students also scared me to hell. Luckily my bro and I and his churchmates were safe when we went to a waterfall before that (it's a different waterfall). Now, my parents and even my grandma forbid me and my bro to join any outings invloving waterfalls and 'bridges'... But I still pay respect for them, so let's close our eyes, and pray for a minute.

It has been a loooong 2 months and at last, I've decided to blog!! Yes, I'm not dead yet, so don't worry. Hm... I think this will be my first time blogging here huh.

The MCB test 2 yesterday was awfully hard (don't get me wrong, it means Molecular & Cell Biology). Even if I've read them and memorized them (I doubt I did), it still gave me a hard time answering the questions. I gave up a one small part of 4 marks when the time's up even though my lecturer said she will give extra time. I was too lazy to think already... Waking up at 4 consequently really drains me out...

Anyway, I came across an interesting e-mail, so I thought I can share it over here. Be reminded that I'm not the one who wrote this, and it does not represent where I am standing:

Blacklisted Companies

1. The cafe scams - Island Red Cafe & Stevens Corner
Both of them are located in Pandan Indah. Island Red Cafe collects RM6k from its members each and promised 5% return every month, and even give you a name in the ROC shareholder, but what's the point when they run away? Stevens Corner, the famous Indian coffee shop, follows due to drop os bussiness since their renovation. They collect RM3k per member and promised a return of RM150 monthly and plans to open nice franchise cafe called Stevens Tea Garden. Someone mentioned that they will make you sign an agrement that gives them the right not to pay you anything in the future. If you really wish to join, you can ask for a copy of their agreement and consult your lawyer BEFORE paying them. Both of them collect money from MLM (multi-level marketing) recruitment schemes and pay the old members like Sunshine Empire. You'll never know when they will run away.

2. Sunshine Empire (busted by BNM)
This licensed and legal company has an impressive office at the ground floor of KUB building along Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, near Menara Public Bank and AmBank building. They also have a showroom office at the ground floor in the next building. 3 or 4 months ago, Singapore Strait's Times and The Paper (they stopped paying back members now and all investors lost their money, as expected).
Although Singapore is investigating them, they did not stop their business as the business is legal and so far, no Singaporean have failed to recieve their commissions as promised. Thus, the government cannot stop them yet. The news published that the founder, director and group president is someone named James Phang but he is not the owner. At the end of the game, James Phang can just disappear from the company easily and claimed that he was just 'employed'. Such tricks always happens in scam bussinesses. Now, the company has stopped paying commissions and interests to members with the excuse that the Singapore government has freezed their bank account while under investigation. Do you think their boss will be so stupid to keep that much money in the bank to be freezed? They are all transfered away. It's just an excuses not to pay their members and members are only paid with "e-bonus-points" which is cashless. If they wish to convert them to cash, they have to recruit new members to pay them cash and the recruiter less out from the amount. So victims act like vampires and are "forced" to victimise other victims if they wish to get their money back. And their victims will later transform to vampires and the scam carries on…

3. MobilWallet
This company owned by 2 young men, Stanley & Rey Gan, owning an office in Queens Avenue Park, has collect multi-millions for the last 2 years. Claimed that they tied up with Telekom, Utility Board payment like Water & Electricity bills, even Maybank got fooled by them. Advertisement billboards were everywhere. They STOPPED paying back their members few months ago and the members cannot do anything because they are made to sign an agreement unaware that the company can stop paying them by CHANGING terms and policies.

4. Water bussiness - Oxygenated water products
Some of these are bottled water and some are filters or equipment that claimed the trick.
One of the better known company that sold "oxygen" water is SITO (supposed to stand for Selangor International Trading Organiszation and claimed that Selangor State Government owned some share in it). The key person and founder is Dato Robert Ong from Rawang but his name is no longer in the business now. Their products are sold for RM2 to RM3 for a 350ml bottle and now concentrating mostly in the Indian market. Their Chinese and Malays market are long gone since a year or 2 ago. Their customers are made to believe that their water has more oxygen and able to give miraculous effects for the body. Water is H2O, how to put more O into it? Anyone knows how much oxygen do we breathe into our body everyday at FOC? Latest news is that this SITO company is going to create a new label to market under a new company since the SITO name has already gone bad. Someone informed that this company is owing alot of money(due to refunds) to ex-stockists but just refuse to pay them. (Latest news, SITO shifted to another place and their MLM business has closed but planned to start again with a different name, beware!!)

5. Car fuel booster - K-Link
K-Link, the famous scam MLM company that sold the footpatch TAKARA, later the "cock-ring" and energy-card launched the patrol-saving pills last year. Got so hot that even grocery shops are selling for them. Recently many of these cars that used the pills are rushing to the workshops to clean the residual. Few months ago, another MLM Company launched a fuel booster gadget, claimed that saves up to 20% fuel, that is attached to the cigarette lighter. Started off well using binary plan but business begin to fade now and most users find it NOT effective.

6. Perfume
(eg. Lampe Berger & Bel Air)Lampe Berger is not so hot now in the neighbouring countries but there are still new victims every month in Malaysia. Must thank those who have contributed and kept the thread alive here in Kopitiam. Bel-Air have closed in Malaysia. LB is almost zero in Singapore. This perfumery product from France with over 100 years history is just bottles and fragrance (check the factory's website) but the Company marketing them in Asia claimed them as an "aromatheraphy" product. Hong Kong TVB aired a program that exposed their scam but their members claimed that HK's TVB already apologised to them. Note that the biggest strenght in a MLM Scam is that their members will go all way out to lie in order to defend for their company. The reason is simple: these members fear that they will not be able to make their money back if the company collapse. Knowing that the Lampe Berger products are moving slow, they add a line of skincare products named Estebel, also claimed to have over 100 years history in France. (Hardly anymore Chinese newcomers, they are now tapping the Malays in Malaysia.)

7. Energy products
(eg. stone pendants, bracelets, mattress and pillows). They use all sorts of gimmicks and demonstration to make you into believing them. They will do some tricks and demo to prove that these products really produce energy BUT is there any tricks in their demo? So what if they really produce energy? Is it good or strong enough to help the body? The effect is actually similar to placebo!!

8. Hi-tech products
Names like bio-tech, nano-tech that claimed millions of dollars of research involved, eg. Bio-Young and XKL few years ago. Most of these will have a professor named behind them (even with name and picture of a person) or used words like "U.S.A. formula", "German Technology" or "Nanotechnology" and no further details. If you ask for more details like the professor or factory's address, the answer will be "trade secrets".

9. Investment schemes (busted by BSN)
SWISSCASH is the king of all. Swisscash is nearly over now but there are many similar and smaller ones that are still on. (Now, it's closed or stopped paying back members.)

10. GoldQuest
This copany that claimed to be HK-based started with some non-value gold-plated coins that are sold for over RM2k have several names and changed their products several times (QuestVacation, QuestNet, etc.). They have several offices in Amcorp Mall, PJ and their key person (in fact, the owner), a Malaysian Indian was arrested last year in Indonesia for being involved in a very big Phillipines scam. Most of their overseas offices are closed or inactive but their Malaysia business is still hot, with some "energy" products.

11. Numerogy & fortune telling
A company named Visible is using MLM to sell fortune telling classes using your birthday based on numerology fortune telling. Prospects will be told that they need to buy a certain "number" between 1 to 9 in the form of pendants or bracelets made of stainless steel and sold from RM600 to RM20k. Customers, or rather victims are mostly females from rural areas. Very hot in Penang now and a number of spin-off companies have started.

12. MJ - Life
This Company boost of a very big background with many many years of history which is NOT true. Their people or associates may be long in business but they have nothing to do with their MLM launched recently. Why is it considered a scam or bad? New members are told to pay a sum of money (up to RM1k) and you get NOTHING for it. You only get a membership entitling you to enjoy all sorts of special prices and discounts when you have medical check-ups in their centres... They will claim all those check-ups cost more if done elsewhere. It's not true. Only the naive and those new to medical check-ups will fall victims to them. Most members who paid the money ended up with nothing.

13. Seaweed venture scams
One such company is located in Taman Maluri, Cheras. They will ask you to invest a few thousands ringgit for their venture of growing seaweed in East Malaysia and you are guaranteed returns. To gain your confidence further, they will tell you your investment money is secured by "insurance" or "unit trusts" & "trustees". When you ask for further documents to prove, they will give all sorts of excuses or just ignore you because they know they cannot get you. This seaweed scam is one of the hottest now, warn all your friends about it before they are victimised.

14. MXM (previously MGM)
This is a master in scamming among the younger groups, very successful 2 or 3 years ago but since they moved to their big 10-storey office at Phileo Damansara and changed name to MXM, their business dropped. They collect members RM3k to RM4k with credit card monthly easy payment from members and in return you get a hospital benefits insurance from Pacific Insurance worth only a few hundred RMs together with some you-don't-need medical check-ups from their associate company Pathlab. Also talk about fitness, lifestyles bullshit that is all worthless.

15. Gano Excel
This company from the north, a copycat of DXN selling Lingzhi capsules created a new company called Gano iTouch to cash-in in the internet like e-Cosway after their company went down the drain since the last 2 years, selling Linzhi and some no-value energy pendants and alkaline water gadgets. They provide free transport every weekend from KL to visit their Alor Star office.

16. NuLife (HK)
This company started by some HK people has been in Malaysia for more than 10 years but they have flopped in HK and Malaysia due to bad management and a product scam making use of a prosecuted American named Dr Jeffrey Bland, found guilty of false products claim. Since this case in the US leaked out and many Malaysians found out that the real boss in HK is a Steven Tang (he cheated many Malaysians in another scheme about 20 years ago) their business went down all the way. Now they claim Malaysian partners cheated them and startd a new company in Malaysia . Watch out, this new company will come out with some investment scheme idea that will get many to lose their money.

17. Arowana fs breeding
Oora from Germany , Biofuel (Kompleks Maluri) etc - These are some newer scams. Arowana fish venture ask you to invest some money and give you fixed return. Biofuel will tell you their Indonesia connections (just like Sunshine Empire before using Taiwan) & Oora from Germany (never trust those cruel Germans) that market some bio-chips and a gadget that claims to give energy and therapeutic effects of accupunture, tai-chi, yoga, etc depending how you set the toy-like gadget, wear it on your body and you get the effect later.
They could not explain or provide any demonstration to prove their effectiveness. The health effect is actually like placebo.

iPhone 3GS

At last, iPhone3GS has reached our country. Everyone knows this place always launches stuff later than other places, but it is launched here earlier than I expected, by the company that launched iPhone3G package locally, Maxis. Don't worry, iPhone3G is still available. The letter 'S' in for the iPhone3GS basically represents 'speed'. The word 'speed' is used as everything you do on an iPhone3GS is practically 2 times faster than a iPhone3G. It is also more responsive and improved 3D graphics.

iPhone3GS is a lil bit heavier than iPhone3G, though you can say it is insignificant as the difference is only 2 grams. It now offers a bigger capacity of 16GB and 32GB and you can have one more colour to choose from other than the original black colour, white. For user's sake, Apple upgraded the camera to 3MP with autofocus, which is a bit shameful for iPhone3G as it doesn't have one for such a 3-in-1 phone.

Apple added an additional digital compass and voice control into the iPhone3GS too, and prolonged the battery life of the phone. After long months of struggling and suffering, I'm at last, lying on my heavenly bed!! The last few weeks are like hell, studying an alien language, where I don't even get what the questions in the last 2 pages of the test paper.

I came across an article in a newspaper few weeks ago and thought of sharing it. Here it is:

Sitting in FTZ Subang the whole afternoon today. No internet sucks, it's like you are cut off from the world. Played a few games of DotA, won once and lost twice. Still suck in DotA, especially this year. Maybe I played too much with the AIs, not like last year where people always ask me out. Well, suck in DotA maybe is a good thing xD.

Started learning Russian this Monday. The language was strange, for example you pronounce the letter 'n' as 'p' while 'p' as 'r'. Me and Ace had a hard time to understand what the lecturer talked about at first, because her voice was so damn soft. The lesson is quite boring if you can't hear what she says. Basically, the voice of the students are louder than hers. But I never thought there was a Lincoln College in The Mall, lucky Ace was there before me so I don't have to walk around and look for the college.

This is a boring week. I wanted to have a good nice long holiday before A levels ends, and waited patiently for it. But somehow I feel too damn bored, until I have to borrow Dragon Ball series from Ace and watch them LOL. Sean picked me up to watch movie 2 times this week, and I watched Night in the Museum 2 and Angels and Demons. You see, we are THAT bored. We even called someone and ask her out at 9 pm just to eat dinner with us in Pizza Hut and sent her back home at 10 pm on Tuesday, and that was after the Night in the Museum 2, which Ace left few minutes earlier before the ending to catch his bus, but waited more than 1/2 an hour for it.

Basically, I was loafing around this week, except having Russian classes. I need to get a job and find something to do to fill up my time. I have to think of how to go back to SA now, darn. Ciaoz.

Mechanics is over and now I'm sitting in the library pissing at myself. Damned, how the hell can I fXXXXed up this kind of paper???!!! The paper was not easy, but it was not hard either, and yet I screwed it. Not to mention this is the first paper for my finals.

Waaargh, I want to yell it out! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!! I got the whole last question wrong!! How can that be!! Motion on a straight line!! I got it wrong!! I mistyped a decimal in my calculator and got t = 0.2s where it is supposed to be t = 20s!! Plus, I spent too much time on Q5, which I did not manage to finish, and I forgot to consider the distance moved when the string is slack in the last part of Q6!!

What a day for the first day of my finals. I can't help it, why am I so damn careless?? Nevermind, I think I should go home now.

Woohoo!! After two long months of 'break', I finally feel like posting now xD! I did not even post during my birthday, which I planned to but forgot LOL. It is the fifth month of a year now, and today, 8th of May, will be the last day of me studying in this college. A year and 3 months sure pass by real fast, without me realising it. Starting next week, I'll be on a study leave to prepare for my finals 2 weeks later. To tell you the truth, I'm still not ready...

The last class for Physics was yesterday though. Our lecturer have to attend some course today, so she replaced the 2 hours class for today 2 weeks earlier, meaning I went to school at only 10am today, the first and the last time hah. Before she left the class yesterday, she bought a cake for the class, and sadly, or you can say luckily, there were only 7 person attending the class. The other half of the class are all missing in action LOL. So, we cut the cake into big portions and savour them together. People who dropped Physics just stare at us eating our cake, too bad for them xD.

The class for today starts from 10am to 1pm, but Biology lecturer let us out earlier, so we came out at about 12.35pm. The 3 remainig lecturers adviced us to do well in our studies. Mathematics lecturer asked us to do more past year papers so that we can get a hold of the format; Chemistry lecturer told us not to give ourselves pressure and always think at the bright side - results is not everything; while Biology lecturer told us that it was a pleasure to teach our class, although it is only for 2 semesters, and she said our class is better than PM6!! Take that Lalazai!!

Our class had our lunch together at Umetei Japanese Restruant today, except for WX and Nick. I think there was duplicate orders as some dishes are served in wrong numbers. But overall, the food was OK. I then went to Sunway to watch X-Men Origins: Wolverine together with Sean Jantan and Lily and the gang. Sean Jantan and I were late for 15 minutes I guess because of the stupid jams and snail-speed lifts. The movie was OK, not a movie that fascinates me or catches my heart, though some say it rocks. Well, everyone has thier own opinion right? We have to wait for Banana Tree to have her makeup done for the photoshoot using IPhone contest (in conjunction with Maxis' IPhone promotion) and stood there for more than 1 hour...

Someone said that their college isn't happy about last year's result (0801PE4 got the first in the Class Category in the world). Anyway, good luck for the guys who are willing to sit in front of the computer for the whole day just to answer millions of simple maths questions.

Last on my list for now, 深愛 by one of the popular seiyuus, 水樹奈々(though some say 平野綾 is more popular. I'm neutral xD.) For me, the songs in this new single is superb as ever, but I think I've heard the song '深愛' in another language before. One more week have passed and it's Friday again!! For those who do not believe what happened to Seansterz on last Saturday afternoon, please refer to his blog for the full and detailed account. I believe he did not like what I wrote and was pissed, so he decided to write his experience himself.

Yesterday was Thursday, which means Bio practical on the first 2 periods. We are supposed to make alginate beads and the whole class were so excited, even before this (when the lecturer told us we're doing alginate beads on Monday). She warned us not to play with the beads as some may have allergy to them, causing their hands to itch upon contact, so some girls in the class brought disposable gloves. Yes, they bought them and brought it to the lab (for those who think I'm pointing out them, please don't be offended)...

I took some pictures when doing the experiment, of course without the lecturer looking. First, we mix yeast together with the same amount of glucose solution. Next, we extract 3cm³ of the mixture, then add same amount of alginate. After stirring, add the mixture into a 3cm depth of calcium chloride using a glass rod, then, yeast-glucose alginate beads are formed.

Here is what happened when I just pour the mixture of yeast-distilled water into calcium chloride:

We are supposed to place an alginate bead into hydrogen peroxide solution to observe the activity of enzyme in yeast. Oxygen bubbles are formed around the beads and are used for the enzyme catalase to catalyse amylase. The beads will later float like this:

We also add the alginate beads in bromothymol blue solution. After 15 minutes, one of them turns from blue to yellow (pH6) and the other blue to green (pH7).

When the lab hours is over, some girls collected the beads and took them home. I wanted to take them home too, but still discarded them later since they will disappear eventually.

It was the second time I cooked myself this year xD. For 2 long months and I cooked twice only, the first time was the day before, Saturday night.

Sexting - Serious Consequences

Are your kids “sexting”? That is sending graphic images of themselves or friends to others via text messaging? This is a disturbing trend, that one recent study claims 20% of teens are engaged in this activity. Obviously, sexting can have significant consequences.

Sexting, while a relatively new term, is just another method of sending or accessing inappropriate content, and should be viewed as a form of online CyberBullying. This type of content, has in the past been emailed or posted on personal web pages, but has really taken off because texting is a primary method of communication amongst adolescents and young adults.

Is this simply a case of kids being kids, and making mistakes and bad choices? Or are these felonious activities that will have life-long consequences? Several recent high-profile cases now have lawmakers debating and scrambling on how to treat minors involved in these cases.

In Massachusetts, several boys face possible child pornography charges. Others states, including PA and OH have actually brought felony charges against minors for sexting. It appears that these cases have been settled with lesser charges, but clearly these can have a long-lasting effect.

Regardless of the interpretation of the laws on child pornography, the consequences of sexting can be far-reaching. The reputation of the child whose image is sexted can be sullied and leave them open to further cyberbullying. Images can be posted online, or traded in the digital underworld and find their way to child predators. Recipients and senders could be labeled sex offenders. These are all potentially life-ruining events.

Parents, wake up! We have to know what is happening online. Arm yourselves with knowledge. Ask questions, limit the use of technologies. The stakes are way too high to put our heads in the sand.

It was my college's open day yesterady morning. I did not go, but Seansterz told me that there was a constant flow of people going in and out, so nett flow is zero xD. I called him to have lunch together. When I got out of my unit, guess what happened? If a person with a bleeding nose came to you and say 'Hi', what will be your first reaction? If Seansterz did not greet me, I never knew that guy was him.

He banged himself on a metal pole when trying to pick up my call. I was speechless when I heard his explanation. 2 of his teeth were dangling, and he is sitting in the middle of the road crying. He said he asked for tissue paper from the guard house, but the security guards gave him newspaper instead. Hah, pawned by metal pole and a piece of newspaper!! Seansterz said most of the part was his carelessness, and some part was my fault, so I walked him to look for help. We walked pass 3 clinics at the same row as McD and all of them were having lunch break.

Then we were in front of A Qualitas Clinic. The nurse inside was reluctant to let Seansterz inside at first, keep making the hand sign 2 (or maybe victory?). What she meant was that the clinic will only be reopening at 2. He was let in later still and got his swollen wound fixed up by a Punjabi doctor, that was what he said. I have to sit in the clinic for 10+ minutes waiting for him. A small wound for 54 bucks, a price for cleaning up a small little wound with an injection LOL. That will be an experience for him, since he got so many attention from the others, especially when we sat down and had our lunch at 面对面.

10.43 a.m. now, have to think of what to do the whole day. By the way, the teeth and crying part is fake xD. Have to go now, ciao~~

It's TGIF! I feel like so many people went back to thier hometown, example Owen, Lalazai, Banana & Banana Tree, Nikky, Lily and also Wee San. Hmm... It's none of my business anyway. Our class had our Bio practical on Thursday, first thing in the morning. We were supposed to test the activity of the shoot of germinating green bean inside the hydrogen peroxide solution. Ms Balvinder later showed us the activities of Shirota's strand of Lactobascillus from one drop of Yakult, since we are studying about gene technology now. It was like a rain of rod shaped bacteria when projected onto the white screen. Someone suddenly suggested adding hydrogen peroxide into the slide (I think it was Seansterz or Nikky, one of them). After preparing the slides, we watch the bacteria activity on the white screen. It was a disaster LOL. Every bacteria were 'hyper-active', and thier numbers are reduced so much that we can recognise thier rod-shaped body so easily.

I'm in a dilemma right now. Suddenly thought of dropping Physics just before sleeping yesterday night, to be precise, this morning xD. I consulted Ms Agnes, and she insist me to stay, since I've attended most of the classes and almost finishing the syllabus. Someone just talked to me about this just now, and asked me to rant to someone when I need to. Well, at least I got 50% in EM induction. 4 people in class got the highest, which is only 69% LOL. At least I got to beat Nikky for once, hahah. Ms Indra returned our Differential Equation test papers few days ago. The total is 25 marks and i got 18, same as Nikky. If I keep this up, maybe I can get something in A2, but I think I'm screwed in Complex Numbers and also Vector.

It's been a long while since I visted this page xD. A Saturday night, and I am staying in my room here. I'm not going out because someone forced me to go out at 9.30pm yesterday. Guess who? Well, you don't have to guess, it's only that idiot, Lalazai. That idiot told me that we're going to watch a movie at 9.40pm and we ended up watching 'Pink Panther 2' at 11.45pm instead, sitting in Sunway for 2 hours like some workless idler. At least the movie was funny enought to make me forget that. I like Cloussoe talking something irrelevant and 'wrong' LOL.

Today is the 7th day of Chinese New Year, according to the Lunar Calender. Though it is a bit late already, I still wanted to say "新年快乐!牛转乾坤!" to everyone. I was unable to blog during the holidays because I'm "too busy", or you can say I'm lazy xD. Year 2009 is the Ox year, and of course everyone hope that this year will be a fine and prosperous year. But I some how had a bad feeling. The constant rain enabled2 landslides to occur in my hometown, almost within a week, killing more than 2 people. One crushed Shell petrol station oppposite to Bintang Plaza and another burried 2 houses opposite Grand Palace Hotel. PLKN Camp is also flooded too until the height of a normal table, though I don't care much about it.

Still, I hope this year will be a nice year. According to Chinese Feng Shui (or something like that), this year will be a good year for the Horses, since Horses were having no luck in year 2008. Well, it is just something for advice and we have a choice to believe it or not. I personally think that it has no affect in my life.

Before going back for CNY, I went to Inti College SJ's "Moo Moo Festival". It was held on Tuesday night, a week before the CNY holidays. To tell you the truth, the performances sucks, except the 二十四节令鼓 and 撤铃. It rained at abt 9pm, so I left and did not watch the remaining performances. I left my ticket with my classmates and went DotA with 6 others. Randomed PA, and owned during late game (Huskar and Abaddon help defending, and Huskar got 2 more kills then me =.=). Later, I found out my lucky draw number won me a speaker set, and I left it in my friends house.

AS results was released the next day. I was not in my good mood that day. At least I got an A in my Maths, which is the easiest paper among all papers I sat last year. I will bang myself on the wall if I didn't get an A for it. Many in my class decided to drop some subjects or differ to another intake. 2 person I knew even dropped A Levels. I was afraid I can't cope with it anymore. Why CIE decided to release the results before CNY? Why?? That afternoon, ET asked me out to the movies, asking me not to think too much about the results. So, I went with 2 others and watched "They Wait". It was quite a nice horror movie, with a special plot. Then we had our dinner at Kim Gary and went back.

People seemed to stop buying firecrackers this year after the economy crisis. The fireworks only lasted about half an hour during 除夕夜 before 12am. It lasted for more than 1 hour the last few years. I have no comment when it rained a while after the clock hit the number 12, as if asking people who are "burning thier money" to stop and go back to sleep. The rest of the CNY days were great, except on Friday where the second landslide occured. I was stucked in the traffic jam after it occured, and saw ambulance and police passing by.

Windows MicroXP v0.82

Ever heard of MicroXP?? No?? MicroXP is a special edition of Windows XP. The latest version, Windows MicroXP v0.82 is released last year, and you know what? The total size of the WINDOWS folder is only about 199MB!! Yes, 199MB, plus the CD size of 99.9MB, it is one of the smallest Windows XP installation. Despite the small size, it can truly run 99% of the programmes and games that are working on normal XP. Until now, there is still no reports on any programmes or games not working in this Windows version.

This install includes stuffs that are found in normal XP, for instance default XP drivers for Ethernet/Sound/SCSI/RAID. It has all keyboard layout choices kept and Service Pack 3 final slipstreamed into it. LAN Networking is now possible by using the 'Map Network Drive' and just put the computer name of the computer you want to network with. Digital Cameras and Scanners can also now be used. The ISO file size is also the same as the previos versions, which is 99.9MB. There is one thing that disappoint me, that is that all languages are kept, except Chinese and Japanese (which I often use) and also Korean.

Installation time of corse differs from computer to computer, but it won't take long - about 5 minutes is enough to get this Windows installed and ready to use. The following info is taken from this page:

But before, you have to know that the install is a greatly reduced installation of Windows XP SP3. Please read the following if you are interested in installing them:

[WHAT YOU CANNOT DO]

- SINGLE USER ONLY -

You cannot add any additional users. Do not try to add more users, otherwise your main account that is used by default (Administrator) will become the new account and after logging in, you will not have any desktop theme (not even Classic) and the whole account will be ruined. You'll probably have to install Windows again because if you make a new account it replaces Administrator and tries to log you in with Default User - the problem with this is - there is no Default User anymore.

- NO NATIVE SUPPORT FOR FTP SITES -

There is no built in support for downloading from FTP sites, try using Filezilla or WS_FTP if you need to do that. Even just Opera or Firefox can probably do it. This functionality is gone because the Application Layer Gateway service is gone, along
with ALG.EXE that normally runs in Task Manager, taking up about 6Mb RAM for what amounts to no reason.

- NO VISITING WINDOWS UPDATE -

You cannot visit Windows Update with this version of Windows because Internet Explorer is removed. You can manually download updates from Microsoft and you can also use the alternative Windiz Update website through Opera or Firefox. Because so
much has been removed from this edition of Windows, you are not likely to be any more safe installing updates for Windows.
NOTE: Because this edition of Windows uses a patched winlogon.exe in order to remove the oembios.bin file, you really should not update Windows anyway, in case
winlogon.exe gets replaced by an update. There are more details about this in the eXPerience folder on the desktop once MicroXP is installed.

- NO FAST USER SWITCHING -

Apart from you only being able to have the one account anyway (Administrator) the ability to do Fast User Switching is also removed.

- NO PASSWORD STORAGE/AUTOCOMPLETE -

Windows will not save stored passwords, however, this only really applied to Internet Explorer and Outlook Express, which are removed. You will be fine using Firefox or Opera web browsers and Thunderbird email client for emails. Those are self contained programs and take care of storing your passwords by themselves.

- NO CD-ROM AUTOPLAY -

When you insert a CD that would bring up a screen to install the program contained on the CD, this does not happen in this version of Windows, you will have to explore the CD manually and run whatever file it is that runs the program's setup, usually
setup.exe on the root of the CD. If the CD has a file called AUTORUN.INF then open that file and look at which .exe file is listed in AUTORUN.INF

- NO SMART CARD DETECTION -

- NO SCHEDULED TASKS -

You cannot set programs, like AntiVirus or Hard Disk Defrag programs to run in the future IF they need the Scheduled Tasks service in Windows. If you are going to run those types of programs you will have to manually scan or defrag whenever it is convenient. Despite this, one program that will schedule its operations is Perfectdisk defrag, you do not need Task Scheduler for this program to run a scheduled defrag.

- NO REMOTE DESKTOP -

There is no Remote Desktop in this version of Windows because the Terminal Services service is removed.

- NO THEMES -

You cannot have the Luna (Blue/Olive/Silver) desktop theme in this version of Windows, the only theme you can choose is Windows Classic which it is already set to by default. You can however install Windowblinds if you want to and it will work fine, Windowblinds does not rely on the Themes service. You could even make MicroXP look like Vista with the Ironjer AeroGlass The Remix V4. Use v4 not v5 of that if you use it.

- NO UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY SERVICE -

I always thought UPS Service delivered parcels but apparently not, if you have this type of device then it will not work on this version of Windows. A UPS is only used for emergencies like if you have a power cut - thats if you even have such a device.

[WHAT YOU CAN DO]

- PROGRAMS -

You can still install and run just about all the programs and games that you can run on a normal installation of XP. There is a text file in the eXPerience folder on the desktop that has a list of programs that work and includes some that don't work (not many). Even Office 2007 installs on this version of Windows.

- GAMES -

Up to now, there has not been one single report of any game not working on MicroXP. Gaming is what this edition of Windows is all about, it gives better benchmarks than any other version of Windows I have ever tested.

- LAN NETWORKING -

At last - MicroXP now has the ability to browse your local network. All you need to know is the computer name of the computer you want to connect to and thats about it, just right click My Computer and choose Map Network Drive. All computers can see each other even if every computer in the network is running this MicroXP.

- CAMERAS AND SCANNERS

Now in MicroXP it is possible to use a digital camera (USB only, no Firewire) or a scanner. Tested and working with a Fuji FinePix 6MP camera. The Photo Printing Wizard is not included, neither is the wizard to download photos from the internet, but the rest of the functionality for cameras and scanners is as complete as in full Windows. My favourite saying: whats missing, you're not gonna miss! Print photos with Photoshop or maybe even Irfanview. Ctrl+P to print works in every single program that supports it, so its not like we ever needed the photo printing wizard, which only ever made all images I fed through it A4, even small images, so it actually did not even work, unless I skipped a button but there really are no buttons to skip in that wizard, its useless.

- DIAL-UP CONNECTION -

You can still use a Dial-Up connection (Broadband or old 56k modem). This is the one major flaw in other stripped out operating systems, a lot of UK users still use a modem with broadband... in this edition, RAS Dial-Up/PPPoE/DSL/ADSL connectivity is OK as well as old 56k modems. Yes, try this install on a Pentium II or even an old 486 might run it! They had 75Mhz processors and 8Mb RAM with 4Mb graphics cards.

- WEB BROWSER -

This installation already includes a basic web browser called Browzar that uses a few core files left from Internet Explorer. No, Internet Explorer is not included, but select files included in this installation that come from Internet Explorer are vital to running Windows. Its also Internet Explorer related files that allow you to open CHM files, which you can do in this edition of Windows. This Browzar web browser is only here so you can at least get online and download Firefox, Opera, Netscape or whatever browser you want. This not only saves space on this CD, but you get to choose what web browser you want to use and you get the latest version not an old and possibly insecure version. Flash v9.0.124.0 for Firefox and Opera is included, so Google Video and YouTube work straight away in whichever browser you install.

- PASSES WGA CHECKS -

If you go to download for example, Windows Media Player 11 from Microsoft's downloads section, you will need to validate windows by running the GenuineCheck.exe file that Microsoft asks you to download as part of the Windows Genuine Advantage checks. Its fine to do this, don't be scared of your key being blacklisted.

- WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER 11 -

You can install Windows Media Player 11 in this edition of Windows.
NOTE: Because the file WMPLOC.DLL is not in system32, Windows Media Player 11 will say that it could not complete setup or words to that effect. IGNORE THIS ERROR! Windows Media Player 11 is fully working after you install it and get that error, Windows Media Video type formats stream in Opera and Firefox still - so you can ignore that installation error. Just make sure if you install Windows Media Player 11 to have the Cryptographic Services service enabled. Windows Media Player 11 needs that service started to install. After installing Windows Media Player 11 you can then disable Cryptographic Services if you wish, like a lot of stuff in Windows, it doesn't really do anything important.

- WMV STREAMS -

Once you have installed Opera, Firefox, Netscape or the browser of your choice, as long as you install Windows Media Player 11, you can stream Windows Media Videos from websites like the BBC's News website, or anywhere that has WMV streams. This is possible because there are three DLL files added to the Windows Media Player folder in Program Files. Don't worry, theres no Windows Media Player there, it only contains the vital DLL files for streaming compatibility in Firefox and Opera if you install Windows Media Player 11. Note that you do need to install Windows Media Player 11 to view .WMV movies in web pages.

- FLASH -

If you install Opera or Firefox web browser(s) in this special MicroXP edition of Windows, you can go visit YouTube or Google Video without even having to install Flash Player. You can just watch the videos right away.

I was somewhere where there is no internet connection available for me, and I forogt to update myself even when there is internet around, so I just got it these few days. Well, the new single, PSI-missing, is catchy as always. Her songs always attracts me with the interesting intro. By the way, PSI-missing is the opening song of the anime To Aru Majutsu no Index. Easy RealMedia Producer v1.94

I've been using Easy RealMedia Producer for a few years. It is a handy programme that can be used to generate RM/RMVB files from other file types (preferabble AVI). It can also generate MKV files. ERMP has a very easy-to-use interface, so it is perfect for me to encode. The files encoded will have almost the same quality as the original file, depends on what settings you choose. Since someone don't know how to use, so I have to put up these stuffs. Hope it helps.

First Google ERMP v1.94. It can be found easily. If you are that idiotic and you can't find it, try this link.

After finishing the installation, launch ERMP v1.94. Click on the settings button, and it should be like this:

Select RealVideo 10 for the Video code. For a better quality of audio sound, I chose 128 Kbps Stereo Music - RealAudio 10. Check the Loss Protection check-box.

Check Use VBR. I left the Max Bitrate as 900Kbps, but you can make it 1000Kbps if you want to. Leave the AvgBitrate as 450Kbps. You can do some calculations for the size of your encoded file by clicking the Calculator button.

At the Clip info tab, check Same As FileName if you want the file name to be the same or just type in your desired file name for the file you want to encode. You can write your name in the Author tab or just leave it blank. For example, I typed my name in the Author tab and filled the CopyRight and Keywords.

For the Output tab, check Same as Input Path or Specify a File Name if you want the end product to be in another file. Lastly, click SaveAsDef, then you don't have to reconfigure the next time you use ERMP.

Then, drop any file you want to encode into the blank space. Click the Start button for it to start encoding. If you want your computer to shut down after encoding, just check the Shutdown PC check-box. The encoding will take about half an hour for a normal episode of anime, so take your time and enjoy!!

**By the way, I only have K-Lite Mega Codec pack installed in my computer. You can use CCCP Codec Pack instead of K-Lite, but you will need to install Real Player or Real Alternative (Real Alternative is included in K-Lite). I don't like Real Player though, it sucks big time (Not the .rmvb files, only the player xD).

*Friendly reminder: Easy RealMedia Producer v1.94 does not work on Windows 7. Try Format Factory.*

Internet Explorer 8 BETA 2

I just found out that Micrsoft had already realeased Internet Explorer 8 BETA 2 in August, so I went to download it yesterday. I know it is a BETA version, but at least it is the second BETA, where most of the common bugs are fixed compared to the first BETA version. Well, after installing and rebooting, I quickly try my hands on the new IE.

The design is more or less the same as IE7, but it has an extra row of commands. There are also few more added functions, such as translating a sentence with Windows Live. Another function, the Compatibility View function, located at the left side of the Refresh button, enable us to view websites designed for older generation of web browsers.

Another thing that I like the most is the InPrivate function. Just press Control + Shift + P, and a new page will be launched with the InPrivate icon beside the Smart Address Bar (that is what they call it for IE8), or you can click Safety > InPrivate Browsing at the top right corner of the browser. What does this InPrivate thing do? This function enable you to view pages without saving cookies, temporary Internet files, history and other datas. This helps prevent the websites you previously visit to automatically share info with other sites, so that web surfing is safer.

The only thing that I'm not satisfied is that it creates another task in task manager, slowing down your computer. Suppose you launch an IE and open a tab (Control + T), the process in task manager should only show one iexplorer.exe (as in IE7), but for IE8, it shows 2 iexplorer.exe, eating up more than 100M of memory if there are two tabs (shown in image below). Maybe this is what Microsoft forgot when they are developing IE8. I hope that this problem will be fixed when the real IE8 is released.

If you feel like it, you can try download it and try it out yourself. As for me, I'm quite satisfied with it. I don't think it will validate your Windows since it did not validate mine xD. For more info, get it from:

I have been slacking off since AS ended. I'm too lazy to even click on the link for blogger, needless to say, my homework. The torturing of Moral Studies is making me going crazy. Holy crap, there is still 2 more weeks of study and 3 hours of stupid Moral for 2 weeks!! What the hell is the office thinking? Got an assignment for Moral Studies. Man, this sucks.

To make things worse, Le Shitspitter @ Titanium Sabertripletooth Tiger reminded me that he had tagged me to write about my facts. Well, since I'm lazy to do my homework, I'll just answer his questions:

- For the 9 months staying here, I used 1 Head & Shoulders Shampoo(nothing left, have to buy a new one), 3 soaps (2 flushed into the toilet accidentally), 2 bottle of face wash, 2 toothbrush and 90% of 1 toothpaste. To tell u the truth, I get some of Turtle's body shampoo and hair shampoo when I forgot to buy a soap/shampoo xD.

- Hm... My studies are still same like last year, no change. I seriously have to change a motherboard and my processor with the tag "A2 and above Ready" tag.

- I'm getting fatter and fatter, thanks to the supper I had at mamak stall and 7-11.

- I'm still not sure what am I gonna do. I have no confidence in my studies...

- Wanted to improve my guitar skills which still suck like hell.

- Someone called me the tower. How dare you call me "tower", S20?? I'll make Santa pay for what you did by spanking you!! You've been a bad little kid this year!!

Finished Chemistry 2 yesterday afternoon. I am doomed. Never thought the brine question will be that hard. Isn't it better to just ask us to draw a diagram and label it? Organic Chemistry is my weakest, I don't think I drew the structures correctly in question number 5... Bah, don't care. It's over, what for crying over a jug of spilled milk?

There is something that shocked me though. I tried downloading something(full seed), but never thought this will happen. It has been a long long time since I have seen this speed, and it is normally at midnight. The picture I've taken was at 6p.m. yesterday though.

Going to have Biology 1 after lunch. At least I have more confidence compared to Chemistry. I just hope that I won't screw it up. I will not tolerate myself for some stupid careless mistakes!! Later then.

I saw this post somewhere in IRC and thought I should share it. It is a nice and interesting post, written by a female writer. I just copy and paste it down here:

Women's Restroom
When you have to visit a public restroom, you usually find a line of women, so you smile politely and take your place. Once it's your turn, you check for feet under the stall doors. Every stall is occupied. Finally, a door opens and you dash in, nearly knocking down the woman leaving the stall.

You get in to find the door won't latch. It doesn't matter, the wait has been so long you are about to wet your pants! The dispenser for the modern "seat covers" (invented by someone's Mom, no doubt) is handy, but empty. You would hang your purse on the door hook, if there was one, but there isn't-so you carefully, but quickly drape it around your neck, (Mom would turn over in her grave if you put it on the FLOOR!), yank down your pants, and assume "The Stance".

In this position your aging, toneless thigh muscles begin to shake. You'd love to sit down, but you certainly hadn't taken time to wipe the seat or lay toilet paper on it, so you hold "The Stance".

To take your mind off your trembling thighs, you reach for what you discover to be the empty toilet paper dispenser. In your mind, you can hear your mother's voice saying, "Honey, if you had tried to clean the seat, you would have KNOWN there was no toilet paper!" Your thighs shake more.

You remember the tiny tissue that you blew your nose on yesterday-the one that's still in your purse. (Oh yeah, the purse around your neck, that now, you have to hold up trying not to strangle yourself at the same time). That would have to do. You crumple it in the puffiest way possible. It's smaller than your thumbnail.

Someone pushes your door open because the latch doesn't work. The door hits your purse, which is hanging around your neck in front of your chest, and you and your purse topple backwards against the tank of the toilet. "Occupied!" you scream, as you reach for the door, dropping your precious, tiny, crumpled tissue in a puddle on the floor, lost your footing altogether, and slide down directly onto the TOILET SEAT. It is wet of course. You bolt up, knowing all too well that it's too late. Your bare bottom has made contact with every imaginable germ and life form on the uncovered seat because YOU never laid down toilet paper-not that there was any, even if you had taken time to try. You know that your mother would be utterly appalled if she knew, because, you're certain her bare bottom never touched a public toilet seat because, frankly, dear, "You just don't KNOW what kind of diseases you could get."

By this time, the automatic sensor on the back of the toilet is so confused that it flushes, propelling a stream of water like a fire hose against the inside of the bowl that sprays a fine mist of water that covers your butt and runs down your legs and into your shoes. The flush somehow sucks everything down with such force that you grab onto the empty toilet paper dispenser for fear of being dragged in too.

At this point, you give up. You're soaked by the spewing water and the wet toilet seat. You're exhausted. You try to wipe with a gum wrapper you found in your pocket and then slink out inconspicuously to the sinks. You can't figure out how to operate the faucets with the automatic sensors, so you wipe your hands with spit and a dry paper towel and walk past the line of women still waiting. You are no longer able to smile politely to them. A kind soul at the very end of the line points out a piece of toilet papet trailing from your shoe. (Where was that when you NEEDED it??) You yank the paper from your shoe, plunk it in the woman's hand and tell her warmly, "Here, you just might need this."

As you exit, you spot your hubby, who has long since entered, used, and left the men's restroom. Annoyed, he asks, "What took you so long, and why is your purse hanging around your neck?"

This is dedicated to women everywhere who deal with public restrooms. It finally explains to the men what really does take us so long. It also answers their other commonly asked questions about why women go to the restroom in pairs. It's so the other gal can hold the door, hang onto your purse and hand you Kleenex under the door!

2 weeks out of a month for AS finals have passed. Tomorrow will be the third week of the final, though I'm having mine on Friday, 31st of October. It was Maths 6 (Statistics) that day. I really need help on concentrating, especially my Physics and Chemistry... Well, it was the last day for the SAM students yesterday. They will be having study week after this and then thier finals. I hate to know that thier finals starts later than AS and ends earlier. That is so unfair, damn it!

Can't think of anything special to post, so I thought to put up some screenshots when chatting with somebody else.

Just took Biology Practical 32 yesterday. It was different from other past year papers, I mean normally there won't be blood vessels and plants together in a question, but it came out yesterday. I was quite shocked, but still can manage to write something.

Maths P1 the day before wasn't hard, but I did a stupid mistake in question no.5, which is supposed to be 4-6cosx. Misunderstood question 7.i), so can't prove the equation. After coming out from the exam hall, I feel how stupid I was as I did it on a paper again and was able to do it. Forgot to intergrate the line y=2 in question 9.ii) and didn't finish 9.iii). Really feel like slapping myself as this paper is not as hard as O/N 05' and M/J 06'.

Got to go tuition now. Stopping here.

Diastro's Birthday

Should have post this yesterday, but it is the Wi-Fi's fault again. 10th of October, which is 2 days ago, is Diastro's birthday (he calls himself Dr. Diastro. Search in Friendster and you will know who the heck is he). We bought a small lil strawberry cake the day before (a small cake, can't find a big one late that night xD) which cost us 18 bucks. As the clock strikes 12, we appeared in front of his apartment unit. He was Huskar-ing that time (you know what I'm saying) and was shocked to see us holding a cake singing Happy Bday.

We had some fun and left at abt 1 a.m.. Before we leave, we told him to pay RM36 for the cake together with 10% service tax xD. As a thank you gift, he poured a pail of water down the stairs when we are desccending. Luckily Sugar blocked me, so I was alright while the others were a little bit wet. Diastro then pour down another pail when we are all downstairs. Luckily he missed and we all ran back to our units.

Woke up few hours later to go to school. I was shocked when I see these:

A total of 16 foolscap papers on the front door. The first one wrote "Guess who am I?" and the second one is "Lalazai is a monkey". The others wrote "Thank you", " Toh Cheh Nei Tei", "Terima Kasih", "Xie Xie Ni Men", "Arigatou", "Gracias" etc.. It is obvious the birthday boy did it eh.

It was raining heavily yesterday. I was in the college "studying". Saw these when I'm about to go toilet:

There were wet paper wraps on the windows of the library of the next college. It is a new building and what I think was someone in our college soaked papers in water for a long time and threw them to the neighbour college from D floor. The bunch of guys really have nothing to do. Luckily the management of the neighbour school didn't do anything.

I got 水樹奈々's new single, Trickster this morning. But then I was shocked when I saw the cover, it was like 'OMG, is she posing or what?', meaning the cover sucks. It contains 3 new songs:

Gaaah, got bored from studying. I can't get anything into my head these whole Raya week /gg. Don't know what happened, but I just don't have the will to "pull" myself up and go study. Sometimes I really wanted to slam my head on the wall. Since I have not updated this thing for soooo long, and someone had kept pestering me to update, so I decided to do something about it.

I'm really dead these days. I spent too much already, more than my allowance can allow me in a week. I bought a Trudi Canavan novel in MPH and 8GB pendrive in Carefour yesterday night, plus Pizza Hut and Big Apple Dounut, and plus McD today. Holy crap, more than 200 bucks in 48 hours @@, and I have to go dentist this Saturday. Bah, what done is done.

Well, this post is supposed to be posted last Saturday. But the crappy Wi-Fi prevented me from posting this. So this is what happened:

3.30 p.m., I was going to the bathroom when my couain called. She was in the area I'm living already, ready to pick me up. So I took my shower quickly and went out after changing my clothes. I called her 2 days ago, asking for a favour, that is to bring me to 松下体育館 / Penasonic Stadium as there will be 盆踊り festival being held. Never went to the festival before, only watched it in the TV, so I decided not to let the chance fly by.

As I was walking out of my dorm, I saw this:

Arrived at the stadium at about 4.30 p.m. I think. The crowd is already growing. We got to get a fan each when entering the stadium. I went around the stalls set up at the stadium. Most of them are Japanese food, snacks and drinks. There are also free food samples for you to have a taste. There was a rehearsal before the real thing, at the stage in the middle of the stadium.

Half of the crowd are non-Japanese, though you can identify Japanese in the crowd. The 2008 盆踊り festival is the 32nd here, and is organised by The Japan Club of KL, The Japanese School of KL and also the Embassy of Japan. I went around with my classmates another time when they came. Linear and I bought an ice-cream each, I think it is red bean flavour and the sweetness is unbeatable LOL. Linear went on a feasting streak even though he just ate Sushi before coming here.

At last, the festival is starting. Some of the crowds sat on the spectator's seat, while some made a circle around the stage where the performance will be. Most of the crowd are at the stalls though. Everyone danced with the performers (I mean the crowd making a circle) and it was fun, with the harmonic atmosphere in the air. Can't get a clear picture since too many people are on the grounds.

I then left at about 8.30 p.m. It was tiring, but it was quite fun!!

Owen's Birthday

Too lazy to post yesterday xD.

I went to college after class at 5.30 p.m. to study. I was there till 7.00 p.m.. It was Owen's birthday (not actually his, it is on Sunday, we celebrate it earlier). We (Lalazai did most of the work) had decided to celebrate Owen's birthday 2 times (I'm not the one who suggested this), and yesterday was one of the day. We had chosen a Friday before this, but since most of the invited ones are going back to the hometown on Friday, we then made it on Thursday, which is yesterday. Somehow, Lalazai feel unsatisfied, so he informed everyone that there will be another one on Sunday, and invited some more people, since we are having our trials next month and will not have time to play around.

We went to Noodle Station and had our dinner there. I ordered chicken chop, which I think it is a failure as the gravy sucks, and I'm not full LOL. We were all joking and of course, teasing and commenting Lalazai, the fun part of the dinner. Then came the highlight of the day, the birthday cake. Lalazai and YY went to "retrieve" the cake from the baker shop and brought it here, and here goes the same old song "Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you..."

We stayed at Noodle Station until 8.30 p.m. and I just remembered Owen's and my stuffs are still in the library. We quickly went back to the library and made it in time to pack our things and get out of the library. We then went to SAM block and studied in room 3.8 until 11.30. Then, went home, took a bath, and ZZZzzzz.

Stupid crappy Wi-Fi is making me pissed. I planned to blog what I wanted to blog last week, but the Wi-Fi went KUKU, so I just leave it there. I will leave what I am supposed to post for the later.

I just watched episode 6 of シゴフミ, and it was damn sad. You can say this anime, シゴフミ is showing, or probably reminding us about the downfall of humans. Humans are so corrupted, as portrayed in the anime, full of corruption ,hatred, desires, etc.. Someone who is doing social research may consider watching this LOL. Here is a short summary of シゴフミ from Wiki:

Shigofumi primarily centers around a young-looking girl named Fumika who works as a mail carrier to deliver "after death letters" (死後文, shigofumi?). These letters are written by people after they die and are delivered to the person the letter is addressed to in the living world. The letters contain things that the now-deceased could not say while they were alive, such as things they wanted to say before they died, or even to inform others about who killed them in the case of a murder. Accompanying Fumika is her talking staff Kanaka which can also float of its own accord and likes to be treated as if "she" were a human. In contrast to Fumika who is quiet and serious about her job, Kanaka is loud and boisterous. The story follows Fumika and Kanaka as they interact with the living via the shigofumi. Shigofumi mail carriers are assigned a specific area that they deliver letters to, just like a normal mail carrier. When they are not delivering letters from the dead, they are in another realm called Shigo. The mail carriers are usually now-dead humans who do not age, and take on the appearance of just before they died, but Fumika does age, signifying that she is not dead yet.

This anime ended 4 months ago, consists of 12 episodes, and is worthwhile watching, as I somehow feel pitiful for us, humans. Tell me how was it after you watched it.

At last, I feel like posting for the first time of this week. So, let's start from Thursday.

Thursday -
During Physics class in the afternoon, 铜铜 suddenly asked me "Wanna go have dinner tonight?". I then say OK, if you want to. The class is noisy since our Physics lecturer, Mr. Chapatti left for another course, which is 1K more than his current pay (damned him). Actually, most of the students in our class missed him, because he is better than the one now. The lecturer now is OK-lah, not that bad, BUT, she cannot even control the class. She always give cold jokes, which is colder than me (You know I was called "the 冰山" before), and she laughed at her jokes herself.

WX, Sean Jantan and I can't stand it at all, though we pity her, because everyone in the class seems to ignore her, especially when she was "joking". We got no choice but to "Hahahah" with her and gave her a fake smile. Well, that was far away from what I was about to say, so back to the topic. 铜铜 also told me Bloomer and Snowfairy (I didn't make this up, she call herself that, though I personally felt awkward about it) will be having the dinner with us, plus Voon. So I said OK, but they seemed to can't decide the time. One told me 6, another said 7, AND another said 6.30. WTF, you want me to use 影分身の術 and accompany you all to have dinner is it?

At last, they decided it was 7 and we are supposed to wait in front of Bloomer's house (Not actually her house, she just rented a room, because she got kicked out by her mom, HAH). I was at Bloomer's gate, and 铜铜 was there, telling me that he can't have dinner with us as he need to accompnay his brother. I got a bit irritated but, like LeShitspitter's fav quote, I DUN CARE. After 铜铜 left, Voon arrived, and he was so pissed when he lerant that 铜铜 will not eat with us and he called 铜铜, murmuring halfway during the call. Bloomer came out from the house 10 minutes later, and WOW, that was FAST! We stand in front of her house for almost 10 minutes again to decide where to go and wait for Snowfairy. And guess what, she messaged Bloomer and told her she won't be coming. What a nice day, 2 person FFK-ed in a row!!

Then, Voon took us to a cafe, which took us another 10++ minutes to reach. I sat down, and ordered a bowl of prawn noodles (Since the 老板娘 keep on introducing it, so I just said OK), and it was freaking RM8. It was quite fine, with 2 lil prawns in it (And you call that PRAWN NOODLE, cool!). Voon then said we can add another bowl of noodles FOC, so I ate another bowl. After Voon and I finished the second bowl, we realised that, Bloomer, our dear class rep., just ate half her bowl of noodles (You are fast!! Faster than a SNAIL!!). Voon suggested to have another bowl, so I said I will share a bit with him since I'm quite full, and Bloomer finished her noodles (AT LAST) a minute later. I went straight to the library and studied Chemistry there for er... 30 minutes?, and the library closes. Met JS, who was sick there. Hm..., since like everyone is sick these days (I had sore throat and running nose for a week++ now), thanks to Lalazai.

I know this has nothing to do with the post, but anyway, one of them is 铜铜, the FFK-er xD.

Friday -
Voon seems to be unsatisfied because 2 person FFK-ed. He informed everyone of us (I mean the 5 of us) to have dinner tonight. After Physics (The last period on Firday), 铜铜 asked me where to have our lunch, and I told him I don't wanna eat. Then he said I am an FFK-er tonight (Hey, when did I tell you I want to have lunch this afternoon?? Sean Jantan FFK is none of my business!!). We met again in front of Bloomer's house. As we (Me, 铜铜 and Voon) waited for 2 of the remainding for 10 minutes AGAIN, we saw them JOGGING back (Me and 铜铜 tried to bang on the door before that). Damned, they went and watch Hellboy...

I proposed to go 面对面, they agreed and followed. We ordered and sat down eating. Yes, you got it correct!! Bloomer is the last AGAIN!! Muahahaha (Bloomer's fav quote). Snowfairy left early because she have to attend CG. After that, we went to Carrefour Express, which is next door, and 3 of them doesn't know it exist LOL. We then went back home, the end of the story for today.

Though Sotong did some mistakes for the marks of Maths for our whole class, I still can't get it to pass. Well, what to do?? Did corrections on class and I did a lil revision just now.

Well, after the test yesterday, my housemate, Owen and I, together with Ah Kit, Tze Wei and Lalazai went to buy some stuffz. We have decided to have a small party today since a friend of ours, Julian ( Not Julez Crown xD, just with the same Christian name LOL ) from ICPU is leaving today. I went to buy a cake since it is his birthday last week but we are busy preparing for exams. Owen and Lalazai went to KFC and bought KFC bucket and also went to the coffee shop to order noodles. For Tze Wei, he is assigned to buy pizza from Pizza Hut since he have the discount coupoun.

We started eating at 7 o'clock, without the presence of Adrian xD as he said he will be here at 11p.m.. The hell we wait for him till 11.

After that, we went to GSC Summit USJ to watch Kung Fu Panda. Julian went back to his unit to pack his stuff. KFP is really nice, the nicest Chinese based animation made by Ang-Mohs LOL ( Saw the credits part at the end of the movie, none of them are Chinese =.= ). I like the phrase "You don't have to pay for awesomeness" and the part when Po fought Tai Lung. That was cool, especially when Po grabbed Tai Lung's finger:
TL: No, impossible! 师傅 taught you this??
P: Nope, I figured this out myself!

Master 乌龟 is portratited as the wise one in this movie. Overall, it is nice, with Po, a big-bellied Panda as the Dragon Warrior. It's a bit disappointing though bacause the other 5 Masters don't have much action except being defeated by Tai Lung's special 点穴.

I was back at my unit at 12a.m. Stupid Adrain tried to trick us by putting a pail of water on top of the opened door. Luckily, the pail didn't fell down LOL, a miscalculation in his plan. Then we asked Julian to cut the cake after singing the Happy Birthday song.

I didn't manage to finish both papers held on Wednesday, which are Chemistry and Mathematics. Left the calculation part for Chemistry blank, but the other parts of the question paper are OK. I got so frustrated after the Mathematics test, as again, I did not finish the paper, leaving blank for 4 questions which is 28 marks, 28 MARKS!! Damn it, I screwed both papers on the first day of the test!! Its not that I don't know how to do the Maths questions, but I just don't understand why since I can do the same type of question easily when finishing my homework. Maybe that day is not my lucky day.

Thursday, I woke up early in the morning and found out that the first test being held on that day was Biology. Shit!! I kept on thinking that the first test was Physics, so I used most of the time the previous night revising and doing Physics. /GG, I'm gonna screw this again!! When I got the paper, I regretted. Every single thing on that paper are all in my notes, and I did not have time to look through them. Well, u know what happens next. It is Physics in the afternoon. I was a bit nervous as I suck in Physics. Fortunately, the paper seems quite OK, because I can answer every single question, though I did some mistakes here and there. I think that paper was set by Mr. Chapatti, the HOD + my Physics lecturer ( Questions in the paper seems very similiar to the exercises he gave & what he discussed with us in class).

I woke up when I phone rang today. It was a SMS from Lick~esh (LOL). I jumped from my bed and quickly took a shower. The time was 7.40a.m. I think I switched off my alarm which should be waking me up at 6.50a.m. Well, today's Thinking Skills paper was kinda tough. I misunderstood some questions, and left out some lines of the questions... Gaaah, sleepiness. I finished the paper 15 minutes before the time's up and slept for the 15 minutes. Woke up and feel refreshed. There was an announcement, saying that the second semester starts on the 1st of July, a Tuesday. Yay, one more day free!! For those who are interested in the UK trip have to submit thier names on the 7th of July, my friends and I was like "Hahahaha, RM8.5k + other expenses abt RM1k, you think I can afford?".

Oh well, that is it for now. It's play time!!
